love the helper… will do nice work
Perfect thank you!
Can I ask you why you don’t check the pH after you add the microbes? Like if I was using recharge we check the pH after I mix the jacks but before the recharge?
The recharge won’t change the PH or mine never has
Any guide to jacks 321 growing in Coco ?
What do you want to know?
Planning on a new grow space new lights new grow
I was planning to grow in 5 Gallo fabric pots in Coco/perlite or coco / vermiculite mix.
And as many recommended about jacks i was wondering if there is a good guide on coco+jacks .
How to use it , when to feed how much and more .
I spent some time on the “Coco for Cannabis” site and learned a lot.
Using Jacks I just water the same 321 formula every day.
During the first few weeks I dont do the every day watering. I let the plant search out moisture in the media. My current grow is 4 weeks old and I am watering every 3/4 days now. But the plants are really taking off now so daily watering is coming soon.
My last grow was 4 clones in 1gl bags in a 3x4 tent. Filled it up nicely.
5 gallon bags might be a little overkill but will work just fine. Expect huge growth.
I am using 3 gal bags this grow and again 4 plants.
If I see any nutrient burn I water with plain water for a day or two and then resume feeding.
I dont always water to runoff. Every week or so I will and check the ppms. If High I will use plain water to get it down.
I just saw you have a thread started on this topic. I will move over there.
Gets confusing to be in multiple places.
@Hellraiser he has journal on grow using straight coco, no perlite, no vermiculite. 321 nutes and a little personal tweek here and there.
From start to finish on Runtz and Banana Kush.
This was Hellraisers first grow using canna coco, past experiences were all soil.
End result, said he would be coco user for now on.
Strong words from 3 time winner of Bud of the Month.
Good journal worth reading
So this is just my opinion and my experience with jacks and coco as my medium. When the plants are only a couple weeks old i use like 1/4 strength. And i go up and up until using the full 3,2,1 formula. It has helped. Depending on any nutrient deficiencies i can alter whatever step i need to to fix that issue. I also add a little bit of clonex solution and recharge. Then i PH my water to 5.8 with coco and 5.6 with rockwool
