right now im doing like 240 on ppm on my gallons should i be getting my ppm higher like around 600 now ?? for anyone that doesnt know its fat banana auto seems to be going strong but wanted to check on my numbers ty, heres pic for attention.
using coco it was bone dry.
What nutrients are you using Growmie? When I’m using jacks 321 and coco I start and finish at 800-1000 PPMs
im using jacks 321 a and b with dynomyco i only used dyno at start and plan on adding some to transplant later when its time. so i should increase my ppm to atleast 800 gotchya.
i appreciate the effort it was my fault i didnt state coco first place
You can play it safe with 600 and watch the plants reaction but jacks is very cannabis friendly. How often are you feeding/watering? I usually drench the coco with jacks at 800 PPMs then drop my germ’d seed and only water a few ounces every 3 days or so with coco. High humidity is the big player for seedlings with the coco slightly damp. Make sure there’s holes in the bottom of that cup
i followed your advice from last time and waited the 3 days or until it was dry, which it was in 2 days but i saw some moisture building at bottom so waited an extra day. i didnt water it heavy i just gave a little as i didnt want to water too much. i started bubbling a gallon to get it ready.
how do you use your jacks a and b to get 800-1000 ppm in a gallon ?
I use a 4/2 schedule and tap water. My tap has a PPM of 130 plus silica and jacks lands me in that range
oh nice idk what my tap water is like but im sure it isnt great should i test it with a ppm meter just to see if its in a certain range to use, fyi i dont have a filter or anything.
Absolutely test your water source Growmie. Good info to know and let me know what it is
my tap water is 225 ppm with 9.5 ph
The TDS isn’t horrible but that PH is high. What’s the PPMs after full strength Jacks
I haven’t tested that water with Jack’s I’ve been using refill stations for ro water 5 gallons.
Gotcha, you could always mix the RO with your tap to save a little money and stretch the water supply out. If you’re using a dehumidifier you can collect that as well…same as distilled
Oh I might try that good thinking ty alot.
