Specifics on feeding with jacks 321

Hey yall just curious about a few specifics in regards to feeding with jacks, don’t hate too hard if some of them are dumb questions this is my first time growing and would love to get it right. So i only have two seedlings in dirt right now and only been in there for a few days after germinating in water. I’ve been told in another post i shouldn’t have to feed right away but I am curious about the mixture of nutes. So part A & B have a mix ratio per gallon so lets assume i want to make just one total gallon would i cut the measurements of each in half them or add each of the whole amount to that 1 gallon of water? And i don’t see any instruction on the epsom salts so when do you add that and how much in say a gallon? Then reading the clone bag it says it’s great for new seedlings root development so do i use some of that too or is that redundant and just specifically for “cloning” Probably many other questions but i’ll stop there for now…thanks in advance for any helpful information!

In one gallon:
Part A- 3.6 grams with Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom salt) 1.2 grams. Mix really well and then add part B at 2.4 grams. Mix really well, test ph and adjust accordingly :call_me_hand:t3::v::bear:

And to be sure because i was kind of told both ways… do i wait a few weeks to start nutes or do i use them right away? They are in the red package pro-mix dirt.

If that has nutrients in it already, I wouldn’t start feeding until the cots start to yellow

Thinking about making the switch. Does this come with a measurement tool or do you need a scale to weigh up the nutrients?

I was given this formula.
7/8 tsp A

1/2 tsp B

1/4 tsp epsom
All per gal.

Thanks yall

@MattyBear well the promix bag doesn’t list any nutes, it’s 80%-90% peat moss and other stuff which is the reason the one person told me id have to feed right away…but another said i wouldn’t have to for a few weeks. I did mix a bag of worm casings between the two pots

@imSICKkid @dbrn32 were the ones who turned me onto Jacks nutrients. Seems like most people who don’t run the full amount end up with some calcium deficiency

Hey buddy. I promise you it has nutes in it. You are growing autos right? I would not have added the worm castings right off the bat. What size pot did you plant in?

@Eagles009 they are big 5gal grow bags

And yes autos

Okay. You will not need to feed for 3-4 weeks. Like Matty said wait for the cotes to yellow.

It might be longer than 3-4 honestly in that size pot with autos. Plus you added nutes on top of what’s in soil already. No need to cross fingers this stuff is tried and true. I have quite a few healthy plants growing in the stuff.

Again though I would not have added anything in

Well if its a mistake it is only with the first two i guess

Don’t panic about a little early burn. They will power through hopefully. But for the next lot you really don’t need to add anything to that for seedlings.
