Jacks 7-15-30 Finish questions

Currently using jacks ro 12-4-16 formula because I use straight ro water. Thinking of using their finish formula for the end of flower. I don’t do a clean water flush at the end so when should I start the finish formula or should I even?

I feed the finish weeks 8-10 followed by a straight water feed the last 2 weeks leading up to harvest :love_you_gesture:

So you feed finish week 8-10 and straight water weeks 11-12?

Yes on weeks 8-10 and straight water the last 2 weeks. I basically figure 10-12 weeks of true flower. Some have gone sooner but only cut my water feed weeks. I’ve done the flush versus the water feed and easier with water feeding and can’t tell a difference in taste or smoothness in the smoke :love_you_gesture:

If you have strains you’ve grown and know the harvest date to be sooner I just adjust the finish weeks of feeding :love_you_gesture:

Do you use part b with the finisher if your using ro water? Its my second grow, and i got the Jack’s city limits kit but i decided to use ro water because the results weren’t so good with the tap water, but i was reading on a couple of posts that i need part b if using ro water.

Welcome to the forum.

What products are you currently using? Part A, Part B, and Epsom are all that is necessary start to finish.

That’s all i used on my first grow was the 321, but this kit came with the finisher, so i figured that i might as well use it to see if i get better results.

It’s unnecessary. Keep an eye on your PPM and pH so you don’t overdo it if you do choose to use it.

I got the city limits because i was tired of doing water runs and wanted to use tap but i wasn’t getting the same results so i switched back to ro water but i was reading that i need part b but it don’t show on the packaging that i need part b but this jit was designed to be used with tap water

Whether you use tap or RO is irrelevant regarding what you feed. The only difference is accounting for the PPM of your tap water.

Fertililizer companies will sell anything people will buy. Revenue is revenue whether the product is helpful or not.

I suggest keeping it simple and using just Part A and Part B. The extra products aren’t necessary and can actually cause significant problems if misused. Managing you PPM will be key regardless of what you feed.

Do you have a PPM meter? It it important, but it will be extremely important if you plan on throwing extra, unnecessary nutrients at your plant.
