Jacks 321, RO water and Calmag

Just looking for confirmation that if I am using Jacks 321 and RO water, there is no need to add Calmag?

I’m on my first grow and I saw all the information out there stating that you need to use Calmag with RO water, so I have been running my feedings with Jacks 321 -Ro water with Calmag - 4ml/gal. And now concerned that I may get a buildup of calcium salts if I’m over feeding cal & Mag.

Just want to make sure there is enough in Jacks to prevent the need for Calmag.

Any info would be appreciated!

I don’t use RO but calcium is supplied in part B and magnesium in part A :love_you_gesture:

I use silica and Jacks. I haven’t used calmag in over a year.

I’m just getting into jacks, so am pretty research heavy atm…

When I looked at the cannabis/hemp nutrient schedules on their website, it lists 321 under the “pure water” section; Rain, RO, Distilled… It doesn’t even list 321 in the “regular” water section. So it’s apparently formulated for use in RO water already.

If you wanted to manually tweak the formula, you’d add more Part B if you wanted more calcium, and more Epsom salts if you wanted more Mag, negating any need for a CalMag combo formula supplement.

When you “water” only, do you add cal & mag from jacks or do you use water that may include both, ie spring or well water?
