thanks.
Did you put silica thru the system? I keep seperate and top feed silica right after she shoots a few pistils
Yes I just added it once at the wrong moment.
Gotta add it to the 5 gallon bucket first, then give it 10min before dropping the PH. Followed by mixing nutrients well and boosters then finally PH’ing and adding to res
Top feeding autopots after the system is turned on is a no no
I would do the usual, clean up the bottoms, remove sucker branches throughout the plant, thin them out some and get ready to flower.
second grow harvest is done.
Tents have been cleaned. vacuumed, sprayed down with peroxide, fans cleaned, lights cleaned, cables wiped down. A general reset top to bottom cleaning.
I cleaned up the plants leaving only what i think is going to get light. No more rooting for the underdog branch. that just makes for more work later that sucks.
scrog net has been ordered and I plant on spreading the branches out to get a larger canopy. Last two grows I trained with ties but these were in the 2x2s for so long that didnt happen so it will be another learning experience.
I plan on veging them out so they are a bit more hearty. they are a bit flimsy being stuck in the 2x2 tents for months.
In the 4x8 I only have 3 of the 240s up right now and will add a couple more later depending on the hopefully full canopy. they are at 120W @24" Need to find a good lux app on the apple store. (suggestions). my android phone cam doesn’t go high enough. then convert to par and get dli.
4x4 plants same light just no reds and one is a 3k… why I bought A 3k I can’t even remember.
All plants got feed with 1050/1100 ppm filtered tap.(promix hp) Jacks 3-2-1 full strength with silica blast and Impello Tribus and Real Growers Recharge. I would expect the ppm/ec a bit higher with tap and am wondering if I am not gauging the fill line on my barrel correctly.
!Added some promix to the top of the pots after this photo and did some cable and rope cleanup and re-arranged the plants. ALso put some more cfm supports in,. they are just shower curtain rods. They work geat in the 2x2. Not so much in the 4x8. Will probably find something a bit stiffer.
I need to calibrate my sensors also. 3 ac infinity and 2 sensor push units. I also need to relocate that intake tube. It takes of valuable real-estate coming in that way.
I also have 4 of the clones still in the 2x2. They are trimmed down below our legal limit and I plan on keeping them in vege taking and some clones from them in about a month maybe. Or something. I dunno. I choped the crap out of these a few days ago and can’t even tell.
Im really hoping this grow I can keep more manageable than the last two. Those were nightmare to keep going as I crowded my tents and didn’t clear vegetation well enough. This time I only want to deal with bigger buds at harvest instead of larf that I should have culled.
get that pulse pro meter that connects to your phone.
I will say it’s pricey. They advertise it like crazy on the DGC.
the sensor push does connect and does vpd and what not. I just dont have the wifi unit. I would be freaking out all day long when I was gone If I had that as there would be no one here to fix any issues any way. Yea the dgc guys love them. They are pro for sure.
I see a couple branches that need snipping in the photos.
it never ends.
I feel ya on that. I’m chopping my Gashers today and going to attempt to lollipop both my GDP ladies
Ill go check out your journal! Sorry I have been very busy with harvest and trim and Rl.
in the net. These are not looking anywhere near as full or thick as the previous grows. being kept crowded in the 2x2s for months in 1 gallon pots didnt help.
Looks like a got a good amount of vege time left. Which is not a big deal. I plan on just letting them grow and keep tuckn till the net gets fuller.
Anything I can do to fatten them up a bit or should I just take it slow and let the roots get established in the new pots before pushing the jacks a bit? I don’t want the roots to take a hit and slow me down again. All advice is welcome. Thank you!
take it slow. If you check my 2nd journal halfway through i switched to monster clones and they were slow and taking their time. You’ll get there dont you worry.
You’re killin’ it
I’ll go back and re-read. thanks buddie. Normally they are huge bushes by now. Not what I want this grow anyway. looking to get good air flow and lower rh.
trying to really avoid this type of scenario

look at that scrog job…

Honestly good job, ive seen really bad ones lol
thinning this out was a constant nightmare and really took from the top colas I think. So many smaller buds and larf I just stripped off the branches. only running two fans right now compared to 6. It sounded like a plane getting ready to take off in here 24/7
They look pretty good to me.
Treat them good, ensure the environment is nice and warm, decent humidty, good air exchange, dail your lights in so they are getting good spread and fair DLI.
Give them some time to adapt and kick into high gear.
Ensure good PH and ppm for stage of growth, get that 20% run off to avoid a salt. Build up and they should start filling those nets in no time.
thanks for the input gang. much appreciated.
Yeah just give them time to get going and stretch their roots, they’ll start taking off soon enough.
sounds good. thank you!
