2300 ppm is way high… how old is the plant? With ffhf you wont need to feed for 4 to 6 weeks

That your growing a photo means you can fix this if your patient. I agree it appears to show toxicity from over feeding. In my humble opinion you should attempt to flush the soil to lower the ppm’s or at a minimal just water (until the new growth shows signs of improvement) with ph’ed water in range for soil. Good luck!!

Yeah a flush would work great. I would water with ph 6.5 put about 3 times the size of pot worth of water threw it. So if you in a 5 gal pot put at least 15 galons of water threw it. The last couple galons test the run off for ph and ppm. Then the final gal feed

I started her from seed on 09-Jan-2025, so she’s roughly 5 weeks old. If I can rehab her, I’d prefer to do so. I’m more than willing to be patient and learn from this experience.

Thanks!

What do you mean by: ph’ed water in range for soil?

Thanks! This is a lot of water. Are you recommending that I do this now within one watering or are you spacing these out?

Also, thanks for your tip about FFHF. I think my providing nutes so early on is why I have this problem.

So depending on your water source it’ll have a wide range of ph. Soil needs to be adjusted to ideally 6.5. Coco and Hyde require a different range. Do you have a ph meter yet?

Got it! Yes, I have a pH pen and tested the run off water and the pH of the tap water used going in. The pH going in was around 6.9. I’ll aim for 6.5 in the future.

All in 1 watering move her to like the bathtub or sink and slowly put all that water threw her

Yes 100% but we live and learn… lucky shes a photo and we can save her

Many thanks for this clarification!

Like i said when you get to the last 2 or 3 gallons catch run off and check ph and ppm. If its where it needs to be which would be 6.2-6.8 ph and ppm should be under 1000 then the last gallon you feed a full nute dose

So, I’ve completed the “flush” with pH 6.5 water at 15 gallons. The final pH after flush is 6.6 and PPM down to 400 from ~2300. Note to self, no need for nutes within 4-6 weeks of using FF Happy Frog.

Now let it dry out before you water again. Then every watering water to a run off so you can keep track of the run off ph and ppm

Oh! Just seeing this. I added a gallon of water with nutes (pH 6.5 and 980 PPM) after the flush. My run off pH was 6.6 and 480 PPM. I know the goal is 1000-1200 PPM in the runoff. With this in mind, what should the PPM solution be going in? Lastly, what should my next steps be? It appears that I under-nuted? Should I add more nutes now or wait to nute again when the soil dries out?

Most people reset the soil after the flush immediately as the final part of the flush and then back to the drought saturated cycles.

Thanks! When you say “reset” do you mean add back nutes as I did after the flush?

Yes. She’s already saturated from the flush. One more gallon won’t affect her tonight especially seeing as it’ll be her dinner. After you mix your nutes and before you give them to her check your ph and ppm’s one last time and she’ll be fat n happy for a few days.
