Issues keeping grow tent under mid 80s

From a fellow grower: Having trouble keeping my tent under the mid 80s running a grow 300 by grow light sienc

The best way to decrease temp in a tent is to increase airflow.

Mid-80’s isn’t too bad. You won’t have problems with it unless you get to the high-80s - 90.

There is a relationship between temp and humidity that you should keep in mind. Higher temps demand higher humidity for optimal growth.

very true, just came home to high temp and my my Humidifier was out of water, VPD was high, just made it in home in time to put it back in check.

Need little more information to give proper advice.
Is there an exhaust system? Fans in tent? What is ambient temperature of lung (room tent is in)?
Pictures of grow space would be awsome :grinning:

But typically, increas air flow but without knowing ambient temperature of the lung it hard to say if increasing air flow will help.

Other things to consider are, where is temperature prob, (is readings accurate)
Can power supply of light be relocated to out side of tent.
When was the last time any and all fans was cleaned, especially any inline duct fans…

Run lights at Night
I run my lights from 6pm - 12pm 18 hrs during veg and 12am - 12pm 12 hrs during flower.

Grow during the Winter
I only grow from late October until late March in Texas to keep a handle on tent temperatures.
