You need a magnifying glass/loupe/zoom so you can see what color the trich’s are. When you look close with the naked eye-are the glands looking cloudy or dark?

Here’s a chart to help you decide when to harvest.


I also look at pistils and when they’re 80% red 20% white I start checking trichomes with USB microscope or something like @Slug_Life mentioned. Croptober
(October) is when outside grows are usually harvested.

I haven’t kept up with how long it is in flower stages, since it’s outside, all the leaves are dying, and it is only early Sept :thinking: , is September ok to harvest ?

It doesn’t matter what month you harvest
because the plant has to be mature enough to harvest or is a waste of time and effort . Look at the trichomes. Check out the chart above :point_up_2::point_up_2::point_up_2::point_up_2::point_up_2::point_up_2: @Elmer
