Is this potassium deficiency?

Outdoor grow in coir soil mix in very hard water area with no ph tester, lovely warm humid weather in east UK. So many things it looks like, and so many fertilizers available. Is it K short?

Also it’s a first time grow, so can only apologise for the pot…no pun intended!

she looks to big for her pot

Thought it too late to repot as think it has started to flower!

@mundo I don’t think it’s too late to repot her. And maybe top the longest branch… the stem looks like a tree which is good. It does look nutrient deficient. I would only give her rain water since you don’t have a pH tester. It is a necessity… most nutrients will be too acidic or too alkaline by themselves.

A cheap PH tester is like $10
She is already way to big for that pot, and now in flower she will grow A LOT! I would transplant now!

Order a 7 gallon fabric pot, a cheap ph tester with ph up and down, and make sure to have some bloom nutes handy. When you transplant, some organic fertilizer in low amounts can be added to whatever good organic soil you use when transplanting.

And remember: if it says Miracle Grow on it, don’t use it.

@mundo

Not only Miracle grow, but don’t use any soil that has a time release fertilizer in it.

Bought meter…8.3, oops. Ph down ordered, formulae arrived, and will pot directly in the ground once torrential rain has abated. Have taken top off main stem 2 nodes down also. Will keep you updated, and thanks for all the advice x

@mundo I also bought a cheap meter but went back to indicator fluid as well as pH up and down… it’s much quicker and more accurate. You can’t be sure if the tester is giving you the correct reading. If anything pick up a kit on Amazon with indicator solution… if the tip of your meter dries out it won’t read correctly and you won’t have anything to check it with.

I have the same kind of thing going on

it’s is a yellowing of the bottom leaves that brown from the inside out. Only affects old growth and the rest of the plant is very healthy. I grow out door in the ground and use a ph kit and Pom meter. I’m in week two of flower
