I am a new or pre new grower. I need to grow in a small closet and I really can’t go over 5 feet. This is completely for personal use and I’m only looking to do 2 plants max because I don’t want a lot of extra. I am looking to grow something that will relax me possible couch lock and some thing that will lift me up. AnyWho I was looking online and wanted to see what your thought of this 2 x 4 x 5 set up. I saw these Grow Kits advertised on the ILGM site. Lots of great light and seed information on this site too. Just search the forums and you’ll learn a bunch and end up saving (not wasting) money and being more successful. Good Luck.

Tents to short
Should get a HIG 260
I have a 2x2x4 tent , it grows 1 plant at a time. It works great for me and I got my tent on amazon as a kit. It came with everything including ventilation,fan,tubing,carbon filter, 300watt light all for around $200.00. I had to purchase a separate 1200 watt light to add to it.

Looks great. I’m up for any suggestions on kits and would even do a 2x2x4 or 2x3x4
This is what I got, or similar to what I got, but as I said I had to get a 1200 watt light to supplement the grow. The 300w that comes with it is not enough.

that link was not safe.
u can do way better then that kit,
the 400w HID light is bare minimum for 8 sq ft and does not cover a 2x4 very well,
it is all off brand equipment, better chit would be money better spent.!!
there r no tent kits that r truly worth the money.!!
it may take more then $700 to get started, but the better equipment is well worth it.!
Ok I did some research and even went by a shop and decided on the following.
- Tent Gorilla tent 2x2.5 GGT22
- Lights ( sun system lec 315 120 CMH
- Carbon filter phresh filter 4x12 in
- Temp and humidity Monitor acurite
- Humidifier none yet
- Soil foxfarm happy frog
- Pots ( smart pot ) 3 gal
- Fans hurricane 6 in
- Water ph 6.5
- Vivosun 4 in 203 cfm in-line with variable speed control

Make sure you get a digital pH meter (the kind to test water, not ones to test the soil) and a ppm meter. These are key to setting up your plant for success.

Why does everyone want a tent there’s so many ways to DYI and save money unless u gotta nice job and can afford it one plant ain’t enough I grow as many as I can still not enough 4 oz I. Cropped out it’s almost gone 
Find something good for flower and veg foot print size of your tent.

315w CMH is gonna be a lot, 63 wpsf, i think 40-50 wpsf is ideal…???
personally, i like a lot of light, but there is a lot of heat to deal with also.!

it will be a lot of light also, but only 200 watts of heat instead of 315w.!
these can be turned down, so if 200w is too much u can turn down to 180 or 160w.!
try Can-Filter, they work great and i think a little cheaper then Fresh.
