Is this early bud rot? Buds havent even formed yet

This is my first outdoor grow, ive grew 3 times inside and ive never seen this before. My only thoughts is bud rot already. Should i cut the 2 places off? Its been rainy the past 2 weeks but i didnt cover them up yet because i didnt think it could start till buds start to form. Its probably about week 2 or start of week 3 of flower. Also one leaf had black on it, didnt wipe off either. Any advice would be awesome, thanks every body!

I think it may just be showing colors. Bud rot is usually a light brown.

Check the stems or open up the affected area. It may be insect bore holes or something. Have you sprayed regularly with a cannabis friendly insecticide like Capt’n Jacks Dead Bug Spray?

I found out this year, insect damage can cause something similar to bud rot , I had a stink bug eating my flowers, turned the stems Black and in the infected area turned brown, but im thinking it is a fungus called Black Spot , i seen something like you have on my plant’s before, but it disappeared

Sounds like a good plan, Hopefully the Lady Bug’s work and you Don’t have to Spray anything, the Captain Jack’s is a organic pesticide won’t hurt your plants and i don’t think will hurt the Ladybugs i use it and a whole bunch of people on here use it too , plant’s look nice good luck getting rid of the black spots, keep them monitored and see if it goes away

Welcome , does not look like any bud rot that I have ever seen. I also think the plant is showing color. :v:

No worries genetics

Your buds are likely to be speckled purple and green. Its a beautiful purple you got going there.
