Is this classic nute burn? <zkittles>

Growing 1 zkittles
2x2 tent
5gal fabric pot
fox farm ocean forest soil
marshydro ts600
temp ranges from 72f - 82f
nutes:
1tsp G.H. maxibloom per gal
1tsp G.H. Cal-mag per gal
Water/nutes every 5+ days @ 6.0ph

Over all plant health looks excellent and is blooming. About 42 days old
Leaf Tips are burning is this classic nute burn?
Should I do straight water for remainder of grow due to soil having nutes?
Or ½ strength nutes?
Thanks in advance!

Looking maybe a little more like minor lockout. pH 6.0 is low for soil, get that bumped up closer to 6.5-6.7 and she’ll likely sort right out.

I wouldn’t lower your feed.

It’s just the tips:flushed::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::joy: wait for the plant to tell you she needs nutrients. That’s one thing I’ve learned over the years. Some people would say that if you’re not burning them tips, you’re not pushing the plant hard enough. I don’t know if I buy into that bro science……

I’d say keep going with your regime… Which (every 5th day?) Does sound lacking Actually… You only painted her nails…I also agree about the ph… 6.0 in early veg only… After which, I run my feeds/waterings at 6.4 all the way to the end

“You only painted her nails” that’s a new term for me I love it….:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Thanks for the input!
I will keep doing what I am doing but raise the PH a bit.
Maybe water/feed a little more often too.
Will update in a few days

I’ve been watching the BUD OF THE MONTH (BOM) thread lately, and if you hone in on the photos … (the sugar leaf tips) you can see where most of those are pushed to the limit. Hence massive sizes.
Only after i bought a. Bottle of sledgehammer flush did I get brave enough to test boundries. I always want a way out before they get locked

5 day update. are the yellow leaves ok?
I upped the Ph to 6.5 as recommended and she seemed to respond favorably.
Leaves perked up seemed greener. The buds seem to be thriving.
Most of the leaves with burnt tips are going yellow and appear to be dying.
Its almost as if the buds are sucking the life out of the older leaves?
Do I just hold the course on water and nutes since buds and new growth seem fine?
Thanks for your input!!

Thanks Blastfact
So you think its too much nutes (nute burn) vs not enough nutes or lockout?

they have a 1 tsp measuring scoop that comes in the bag of general hydroponics maxibloom.
When i mix the nutes i measure about 1200- 1500 ppm
i have a scale so i can weigh it going forward.
i do water until run-off, but don’t really have enough run-off to measure the ppm.
what should my runoff be?
what should i do going forward?

Then I must be burning them. Im 1200-1500
been feeding with ph of 5.8-6.0 which was low. (making them hungry)??
Now i upped it to 6.5 (now they are overfed)??
so when i was low ph plants were hungry and nutes building up in soil??
upped ph and released a flood of nutes.??
probably need to just use water for the next few feedings and see if things settle out???
