Is this a form of bud rot?

Noticed brown spots on some of the flower pods(not sure of their actual name, but whats circled in red!). Is this a form of bud rot??

This is an outdoor Northern Lights Auto currently in week 16 since sprouting!

Probably just normal coloration. What is the humidity in your grow space?

This plant has been grown outdoors in Eastern Virginia, so the humidity has been ranging from around 50-85%.

I have concerns about this though…

Something about the entire plant looks kinda sus :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
It almost looks lime its been pollenated? The buds are severely foxtailed or kinda malformed? Looks like a plant with bad genes?

Yes I agree. I grew two of these Northern Lights Auto’s side by side. They came out of the same pack but the other one stayed much more compact and finished its flowering about 2 weeks ago!

@Cannabian Heres a pic of the two side by side, right before I harvested the smaller one.

Yeah that doesn’t look quite right to me. They look odd.
As with many plants I see on this site, the leaf ends are nute burnt. I suppose the feed and soil could be suspect? Its hard to say, but in todays world one would expect uniformity in plants of the same type. The bud formation is kinda whack too, has some bulk but kinda foxtailing badly.
The healthy cannabis plant when flowering should not have burnt leaves it should be like this.

Its ok for them to yellow or fall off or dry up, but not to burn thats generally bad and you will compromise bud quality.

These two are my first grow so im pretty much just learning as I go. Alot of the issues very well could have been self induced!

Looks like you have a pretty sweet setup there! @Cannabian

Yep, I do. Its pretty simple really and extremely inexpensive annually. I do indoor under Fluence lighting only to prepare plants for the garden, this includes many vegitables too. I grow outdoors under the sun as well as in greenhouse.

Upon further inspection, ive realized that about 90% of the flowers on all of the colas are just long foxtails😬 Would you harvest foxtails? Or is there any way to turn these foxtails into real buds?

Absolutely! Not great bag appeal but perfectly fine for doobs or concentrates or hashish making. Dont use any seed from it if there is any, definately dont breed it. Foxtails are just malformed buds that reduce bud density and are a bit stick filled. Anyway, its not a loss its perfectly fine, just dont try to sell it  foxtailing is very typical on feral cannabis and likely if you are growing autos they used ruderalis in the breeding program. These latent genes are very likely what you are seeing. Assuming those are autos?
