Is it worth the money?

You guys think this is a good buy?

My only thought is that the manufacturer only references “SMD” diodes. All this identifies is that the diodes are surface mount diodes. All lighting (other than MH/HPS) is built with SMD diodes, so this is not a point for the manufacturer to brag about. What this means is that the light is most likely built with low efficiency diodes, particularly at the price it sells for. Good lighting from reputable manufacturers will cost a little over $1 per watt.

Look for lighting built with Samsung LM301 diodes.

Ok, Samsung is what to look for.
Thanks for your input.
I need to save my money for next grow and get real lights.

The light you posted will grow weed, but the grow won’t be optimal. If price is a concern, then it may be a decent place to start.

HLG, Mars Hydro, and Spider Farmer are all reputable light makers using recent technology. Definitely offers the best bang for the buck.

Just found out about Atreum lights. Did a bunch of research and for the price, I’m gonna get one. Check out their page.

Good luck with the lights there’s a lot out there for sure. I have two grower choice 680w lights, I also have a HLG 350r, and T5.
They all are pretty decent lights. I use the T5 for seedlings and early stage of veg.

I looked up the company. Barrina makes a LOT of lights. All kinds. Been around a while. Personally i tend to trust solid companies with the spread they have.
