How many weeks has the plant been flowering?
You should be looking at trichomes on flower calyxes rather than sugar leaves. Those on sugar leaves will mature much faster than those on flower.
Those are the lil leaves from the bud. I don’t wanna take a bud to check it. Does it matter if its a small bud from the bottom ??? I have like 4 or 5 huge buds on top. Don’t wanna take that just to test.
I think 4 or 5 weeks. Thank you for the input
You have 4 to 5 weeks to go yet if the plant has only been flowering for 4 or 5 weeks. It takes 8 to 10 weeks for flower to ripen.
You need to. Just pinch a small piece off and look at it under a jeweler’s loupe or a cheap USB microscope. You’ll only need a piece half the size of one of your fingernails.
Yes it does. It needs to be taken from the top as the flowers up top will ripen earlier than those on the bottom.

PS: your flowers are still bulking up at 4 to 5 weeks. The flowers will pack on some weight over the next week or 2.
Agree with @MidwestGuy. You have several weeks to go. Don’t chop to soon. Happy Growing
A little tip…the plant will be on her own schedual not yours (this was hard for me at first). You provide the environment and she does the rest. You have to work at ot to kill a plant its a weed! LOL
Last three pictures of the top colas Tells the story. If you’re not in a hurry they could really use some more time to fatten up an finish. Good luck
Reality is you have a long way to go. If you rush it then you will be saying. Why did I even bother.
Are you in a frost zone.
Yes. We usually get our first snow in October. Im trying not to rush but its hard for me Thank You
Advise taken. Thank You
That’s good Advice. Your 100 % correct. Just hard for me. Not a patient man. I don’t burn get randoms at work. But like to see friends toasted. Thank You.
Leave them out till the first hard frost. You might be able to squeeze out another ten days .
Thank You. The trade off is higher yeald againt lower THC. Im checking tri’s. They are milky at the top kinda clear on the bottom
I got 7 days. Then we’re gonna be 36 in the morning. Its covered with plastic 100 % water proof. Im trying to be patient. All the advice on this great fourm is helping me. Thank You to everybody for helping me not LOOSE MY MIND !!!
Keeping them covered will help.
We have saved the tomatoes till after it snowed out. Cold nights don’t kill them unless it is freezing cold. We always say cold doesn’t kill frost does.
With you covering them the frost can’t bite.
Watering before a frost will help protect them. Definitely need more time bro.
You and I are in the same boat.
Looking at the weather getting colder and looking at the plants and wanting to get them harvested and out of the weather before they freeze.
But we gotta be patient or we’ll be kicking ourselves come time to enjoy the products of our labours…and we realise we harvested too soon.
We got this…
