Is flushing absolutely necessary?

@Growdoc I decided to just keep on growing and gonna let them dry back quite a bit and then just use pH’d water with a little cal/mag and see how they do. SG who had the high run off numbers seems to be settling out, don’t see any new issues on her leaves. Tall Girl is just… IDK… every day she has leaves discoloring and dropping off…she is much further ahead than SG and I know that is somewhat of a sign closer to harvest…but I also know her soil issues are the same.

Yeah, I ditched OF after 2 grows. Tried a few other soils until I ran into roots organic original. Never looked back.

I’ve never used them but they should have come with a schedule. It will note that flushing is required at certain intervals if it is needed.

Question for roots organic soil users.
I stick plastic supports in my soil, will this mix offer enough support to the bases for my purposes?

It should be just fine unless you added a bunch of perlite (which none is needed)

I do not flush in hydro and I’ve never had anyone complain about the taste of the reefer I grow. I think I tired it a couple times with no real results so I don’t do it anymore. The more grows I get through the more I realize less typically ends up being more.

Same here, though I do dilute the nutrients for the last 3 to 4 weeks of flower.
