Hey gang, i was wondering if anyone knows if artesian water is good to use? The only real difference i can find between normal spring water and artesian spring water is that artesian water relies on natural pressure to emerge up from a natural underground well.
Reading up, artesian spring water has a pH of 6.5-8.0. I think if you’re going organic or living soil it’s fine. Coco or regular soil will need pH adjusting I’m sure.
Why sure you can, check out the ph and ppm from the spring and go from there.
Thanks guys!
As others stated, check the ppm of the water. If it’s under 50 ppm then the ph doesn’t matter. It’s too low to get an accurate reading and it’ll just assume the ph of the soil.
Good to know, thanks
I didn’t know this! Maybe this is why I cant get my PH up. I think my plants are fine where they are with PH tbh though because they arent showing any symptoms, that I know of or can see.
@T.rish Just means your soil buffers are doing their job and buffering the ph where it needs to be.
Awesome! Thank you @BobbyDigital!! I appreciate your time and knowledge.
