Looking at ordering a new light for my 2x4 and I’ve narrowed it down to the HLG 260xl and Mars Hydro SP3000.
I keep hearing good things about HLG and I’ve had problems with Mars Hydro but willing to give them one more try if the SP3000 is good as I hear it is.
What’s your guys thoughts? Thx
I have 2 260 rspec xl (DIY) and I’m averaging about a gram a watt
HLG for the win! Especially considering their great customer service.
Companies like Mars and Spider Farmer, though they are doing better than they once did, are really HLG copycats that are late to the game.
I vote HLG too. I can pull 2g per watt pretty consistently. You could do 2 nice plant with the 260
