Ive been running mine at 20 /4, was thinking of going to 18/6after my first harvest (hopefully 1 week or so), but i have 4- 6 week old autos along side of the older ones , will there be any ill affect to the 6 week old if i switch the light mid grow?

I start mine 24-0 for 2 weeks then go to 18-6 a month then 12-12 or 18-6 depending on if I’m in veg or flower have have started them and go directly to 12-12 and they love it and do just fine even if there only 2 weeks out of dirt

@Hogmaster do u feel autos should get a good 6 hours rest atleast …most growing is in dark period …but u want to maximize photosynthesis some autos can be stubborn and half flower unless induced and stay 12 12

They will grow under any light schedule I have had the best luck at 12-12 but I have had good luck at 24-0 and 18-6 But being on 24-0 I have had no benefit it don’t hit but they have been 20% bigger at 18-6 or 16-8 and 12/12 I’m just going off of using the same strain but even still every plant is so much different Now I’m just experimenting with them and throwing them under whatever like I have going at the moment there’s no right or wrong answer but I’ve had at least a 20% increase if you allow it to rest personally

Thanks man. Youve been a great help. Ive actually noticed the difference in the last 2 night’s I’ve switched to 12/12. Its definetly helping the lagger. All 7 plants are responding well to the longer dark period.

Hey fellas here’s an update of the ladies for aesthetic purposes only lol. The injured lady is first and my start player second. Any input is appreciated.

Just did bro. The trichomes pics are from the last plant in the group the one with the nugs… I’m still waiting on the bushy one to fill out but it’s gaining weight… Slowly. I’m adding unsulphered organic molasses tomorrow.

Hey Fellas… 66 days in. Here’s the injured lady. She’s first in the pics. She starting to pack on weight. And also here’s her sister. Let me know what y’all think. Uploading: 20190924_174923_HDR.jpg… Uploading: 20190924_174821_HDR.jpg… Uploading: 20190924_174837_HDR.jpg…

Picks wont upload. Trying again.

Don’t want to give bad news but long loose flowers are some aberration where they never form colas. Second plant has bud and looks good. My friends have had same thing happened. Get you stoned has everything for that just dries weird and don’t store well. I don’t pretend to know what causes it. Some people call it fox tail ?

Nah man lol… I just put em in the shade for the pics.

I don’t think ita foxtailing bro… The buds are actually filling out and id love ANY POSITIVE FEED BACK!!! Help me to fatten up these buds!

Still think it’s foxtailing?

@dldesedare is right that’s foxtailing bro. The colas should be filling out by now. Dont beat your self up. I think you could flush her cuz I think she still has some nitrogen in her and put a bloom nutrient after a couple days to try an get her to fill out a bit. That’s just imo @Hogmaster you think that would work?
