Indoor sour diesel

Hey everyone,
I am into the 8th week of an indoor sour diesel grow using auto flowering feminized seeds. Due to my hastiness and inexperience I didn’t realize until it was too late that sour diesel is best suited for an outdoor grow. Due to my hastiness and inexperience I didn’t realize until it was too late. The problem I am having now is the sides of the plant keep gravitating toward the side lights and get burned because of the closeness to the bulbs. I have a feeling I probably should have done some pruning and bending but did not seeing I am not experienced enough to do that. I would like to salvage what I can seeing I have a lot of $ invested in the time, electricity, grow box, nutrients etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Two choices: larger grow space or prune/train severely.

FYI I moved your other post on the same subject to here. Better to tag people than it is to open new thread. @Chefweedude

Hey everyone,
So I absolutely love sativa strains so I bought some auto flowering, feminized sour diesel seeds and opted to grow them both inside and outside so I could compare results. In my haste and inexperience I did not take into account that sativa strains are best for outdoor grow. Ive been running into trouble with the indoor plants as they seem to grow towards the lights on the side and the leaves and everything else that touches the side lamps end up being burned. Does anyone have any tips on how to make the best of this, I have already spent a lot on the grow box and nutrients, electricity etc, so Id like to salvage what I can. Please let me know your thoughts.

Yeah, I think I will attempt to prune, maybe remove a lot of the lower fan leaves and use some zip ties to bunch them together to avoid direct contact with the bulbs🤷🏼‍♂️

Thanks,
I am new to this and not sure exactly how this works yet, I will eventually get the hang of it.

No sweat; glad to have you here. It’s a great group of stoners/growers and is a very respectful community. I would suggest reading the Forum Policy (it’s only a couple of paragraphs) so you don’t get sideways. Use the @ sign to tag others into your thread. If you need some ‘moderator’ stuff; tag me or one of the other mods.

Oh my hope mine don’t try to do that lol :joy:

Yeah, they are already in the flowering stage and I just had to do some very heavy pruning and stress bending, I know that is not ideal, live and learn I guess!
