OK guys my Sour Diesel plant that was planted in late June decided to begin flowering in mid to late October by putting out all of the white hairs. It continued to grow and I thought nothing of it because it was just starting flowering, but now it is still growing and is almost to the lights which have been raised to the top of the grow tents. Has anyone experienced something like this? There are still no “buds” to be seen just a ton of white hair and it does not appear to be getting trichomes on anything yet. The tent is 7.5 foot tall and 8 ft wide and the plant takes up almost the whole thing at this point. I did SCROG it as soon as it started blooming. Any help is appreciated.

I would like to see pictures as well. Sounds like may have been under powered with light and stretched a ton. But can’t say that for sure without taking a look at node spacing.
I run my lights 18 on 6 off and most people will tell you that you don’t even need a dark period for autos I do it just to save electric and give the plants rest but you have them in the dark for 14 hrs?
I have experienced some his myself off my last grow of my GSC Beast. She was well over 60” tall and I was forced to bend her over to almost 90 degrees carefully.
It’s not the size of the plant that concerns me it is the fact that almost on 4th month if I read it right and just started do flowering is a red flag but if I also read that he runs his lights 10 on 14 off I’m new but I’m pretty sure that’s not helping her cause out one bit
@Shaneo420 If you look closely you will see the tallest part of the plant is directly under the light. So between that and only 10 hours of light will be two factors why it hasn’t flowered and two the height is because the plants will grow towards it.
I had my GSC either under a 14/10 cycle or was 12/12. I’m not really sure which it was on and I did switch it to 12/12 for sure.
@MrPeat holy crap that’s a monster!!! I didn’t figure light had anything to do with timing of flower for Autos I thought it was an age thing regardless of light schedule but for yields I would think you would at least want 18hrs of light or at a minimum 12 hrs of light at least that’s what I have gathered from all the info I’ve gained on here
