Indoor / Outdoor Grow

You should be seeing some pistils now as flowering is starting

I didn’t notice any yesterday when I was watering. I would check right now, but it is pouring heavily over here. The website I got the seeds from said harvest date would be in October. I wonder if they’ll get any taller.

My current indoor grow - all seeds are from Ace Seeds

They will pretty soon. The stretch is about over. Soon they will start stacking bud sites and bulking up. All I see in the pics are two plants on the porch. I would simply put a tarp over them during rains once the buds start forming.

I’m not so sure that the aluminum foil is doing anything but attracting sunlight aka heat. I would wrap them with common household insulation or bubble wrap.

Would I need to cover them even in light rain? I saw someone online say that aluminum would help with heat protection, but it looks like it’s the opposite lol. I’m gonna buy some burlap to wrap around them. My work schedule is all over the place and might not be able to get the tarp up in time and I don’t wanna leave it on all day.

Just two plants you could just move them inside until the rain stops. I wouldn’t worry about it till about week 2 of flower. Then when it rains just throw a piece of plastic or tarp over them. Burlap works great for insulation and it’s cheap.

Even better construct a small greenhouse or shelter of clear plastic and move the plants under that on rainy days.

What Ace seeds strains are you growing? I saw them on the NASC website.

I have Killer A5 Kush growing outside and for my indoor grow I have PURPLE HAZE x MALAWI, VIOLETA, and PANAMA HAZE. My indoor plants are growing without a problem so far. They are growing super fast. Definitely high Sativa plants. Also I appreciate all the help!

Haven’t been able to wrap the plastic pots yet with burlap, but will have time tomorrow to do it.

My outdoor plants seem to continue yellowing with burnt leaves. I don’t think it’s nutrient burn, but I could be wrong. I water 2 gallons at a time due to the high heat and 15 gallon pots. PPM is usually around 1020 and pH 6.5. I also believe they are tilting sideways due to the high winds. I don’t see any signs of flowering which could result in the branches not standing up due to the weight. If anyone has any input it would be very appreciated.

On the other note my indoor plants seem to be thriving. Just been tying down the main colas.

Aftermath of the storm we had last night -

Damn, it was blowing hard on your girls! Hopefully nothing snapped or uprooted and they just have a little lean to them. :grimacing:

Lol yeah they were tipped over when I woke up. Surprising no snapped branches, just a bunch of bending over. Hoping they somehow bounce back. I’m still trying to figure out this yellowing / burnt leaves plague going on though.

Glad nothing was broken. I wish I could help you with the leaf issue, but there are others here who will be able to decipher the issue much better than I. Good luck getting that resolved.

I think the burlap is a good idea

Is this moldy bud? This is from my last harvest. After drying about 8 days I put them into grove bags and left them in a closet I rarely go into.

My amateur opinion is yes, but I would await advice from some of the more skilled eyes here. Someone will let you know for certain soon I’m sure. I hope both of us turn out to be wrong. :crossed_fingers:t2:

It was my first time using Grove Bags and they say all you need to do is close the bag and no need to “burp” them like in mason jars. Hopefully I don’t find a lot of my buds looking like that haha

Yeah, I’ve never used grove bags, so I’m not certain on what their results are like. You may want to repost as a new thread to get some views as this one was kinda dead and I just stumbled back on it. Good luck bro! :sunglasses:

Indoor Grow update - Tent is filling up nicely. Definitely filled lol. Split one plant in half trying to tie her down, but it doesn’t seem like it effected her growth.
