Indoor no-till experiment: the permajournal

Couldn’t help myself… had to cut these too…

@Arrow, do you have a limit in terms of how late is TOO late to be cutting branches off like this? I’m far more confident than before but I’m still not able to predict larf…

Yep, I’m almost positive :disappointed:

All I can say is that snail mail cross continents has been super unreliable for me. Well send birthday cards that can take as long as 8-9 weeks. Other stuff arrives in 2-3 weeks…

Sorry I can’t say anything useful… :smirk:

Yeah I’ll probably just order from ILGM and wait for these ones to get here, if they ever do:face_with_symbols_over_mouth::face_with_symbols_over_mouth::face_with_symbols_over_mouth:
I definitely ain’t waiting 9 fucking weeks for seeds! They could be halfway to harvest by then! :disappointed:

You obviously know I’m different…so I prefer not taking clones more than half way through flower (although I have done this)…for me it becomes dicey on keeping them alive vs the effort vs the success rate/survival rate…its a toss up at best……its also well known that your second gen clones are THE clones…:sunglasses::v:

While that advice is really good, I should clarify that I’m not cloning… I just didn’t want to stress the plants too much in early flower.

I will pretty much abuse them until the end of the second week in flower…I then stop…:sunglasses::v:

Trucking right along!!

I was staring at them last night. I realize it’s a super ‘popcorny’ strain with a lot of little buds popping up all along the main cola branches. Interesting differences from the other two strains I’ve grown.

Looks like that may be bug bites on leaves or was peppered with nutrient water?

Bugs. Still aphids mostly… but there are little fliers too that I’m trying to get pics of… I can’t figure out what they are… but I think they are the ones causing the spotting. Stay tuned…

So earlier this week I said I was going to try to rehydrate the full pot slow and steady. I’ve either over it under watered when I look at the plants. But the humidity is WAY too low.

It’s gotten cold here and I have not been sharp enough at tracking the impact of a changing season. I may need to put a humidifier down there…

I have them 3l of water with molasses and algabloom. If it’s too dry then I’ll re-innoculate in a few days time. We’ll see how the girls look in the morning.

So it was under watered. I did a liter this morning and a liter this afternoon. It’s accepting the water much better now, instead of just running to the sides of the pot. I’ll try to keep up with it now but I need to figure out a rhythm.

Humidity will bring those bugs back… the leaf spotting is on the move. peroxide bath again this week and compost tea this weekend.
