I have a bunch of free seeds Iv received with different orders Iv placed over the years. I decided to just throw one in a pot and try growing it outside on my balcony. I don’t really care how big it gets but I feel even a half oz plant is better then a seed I’m never going to put in my tent and just sit in the back of the refrigerator. I usually use bigger pots and they are black. Will this plant grow to harvest in this smaller size pot? Is the pot color and thickness going to be dark enough so the roots aren’t bothered? It is an auto flower and I probably won’t do LST. Will trim all smaller branches and shoots.

Amen brother, any smokable bud is better than none. Being outside the sun makes black pots very hot for the roots, so you’re much better off in the ones you are using. Since it’s an auto, the pot size will be fine. I’m not sure how the difference in sun light at reduced hours versus 24 hour grow lights will affect an auto outdoors, so try to get it as much sun as possible. Regardless, you should have something in 10-12 weeks my friend. Keep growing!
