Plants are progressing. I think that I’m going to like this setup once I get enough roots to use the autopots.
I don’t know if I’ve updated the group on my grow. Substrate is coco perlite appx 50/50. I added perlite to premixed coco. I added very coarse perlite. I have air bottom and air dome in these auto pots. Canna coco nutrients. AB and rhizomatic, calmag, bloom city silica.
I have lights at 60 percent strength. Probably 3 ft above plants. Vpd between .8 and .9. Temp is 78ish humidity about 70.
This has been pretty easy in a basement with a dehumidifier running. Probably going to need more air exchange when plants get bigger as right now the humidity is kept high by running the exhaust fan intermittently (controller).
It’s sept 15 and it’s been in the upper 90s and I know this won’t last long.
As I move into veg further I am going to raise Vpd by about .1 every 10-14 days.
This is my first basement grow and I’m hoping that it all goes well. At this point it’s been too easy. Eventually, the temps are going to fall and I’m not going to be working with a 70-72f 45rh% lung room (entire basement). @OGIncognito @Spiney_norman @Jonesy287
I am watering with 500 ppm ending from 130ppm tap water. PH in to 5.8.
It hasn’t rained in a month so I also anticipate that humidity going up a bit. However, my control down in the basement has to be better than my late spring summer grow last year in a detached garage.

Looking good Grow Bro, You’re not too far out from firing up the auto pots. Seedlings typically take about 2 weeks of top feeding to get those roots established, transplanting clones is much easier and I transplant and turn the system on right away 
Yeah. I upped the nutes to about 600 ppm total. See how that goes for a few days. Good noticeable growth. Moved light up a little bit and went to 24 hours. Why not experiment?
Using a b mag silicon acid rhizo. Watering to runoff w the high perlite in the mix. Once a day. Vpd 8.5-9. Temp appx 78. Humidity 68-73 ph in 6.0

Do you think in close to being able to run off reservoir?
Turn it on and let the auto trays fill then shut it off and monitor the plants reaction over 2-3 days,. This young the plants adsorption rate will be minor and after the 2-3 days if all looks good open the valve and let her rip

See the bottom middle? Just looks unhealthy but it’s still growing. Any ideas. All plants treated exact same.
Getting good growth. Fertigated last night w ph at 6.1 just because I had been coming in lower lately at 5.7-5.8.
Some of these are getting close to the point where I normally fim. They are also close to the point where they probably need to go into the auto pot stands and run ofc reservoir.
I wonder if I can do at same time or if I should wait?
Give it a week for observation. Personally I prefer a PH of 6.0-6.2 with coco

Man I’m so excited to get these autopots running. I’ve only been watering a couple weeks in this short tent and it’s a pain in the ass.
Sitting at 600 ppm. Tonight I’m going to 700. I’ll get the pots running tonight or tomorrow. I’ve been reading to have the reservoir water and nutes at about 5.6 for the shift over time and that it’s ok to drift up a few points.
I’ve shifted humidity to 65 and my temp is stable about 77-78. I’m in my basement more than likely as I proceed to flower and late veg it will probably be easier to take makeup air from inside basement and exhaust inside to a different area. I’m running a rather large dehumidifier and the humidity outside is dropping a lot (w the temp). That’s what I doing now. I’ve got one light on at 70 percent. I’ll do another I’ll run at 70 percent a little later. I have a window exhaust package but I’m not sure I’ll need it. If humidity is an issue I can use but my dehumidifier plus 70 pints and power gets cheaper oct 1.
This morning
Fed 700 ppm last eve. 78 f. 67 humid
For y notes. Bumped to 800 ppm. Ph 6 Turned down oscillating fan a little had started twist a few leaves.
Received the extra autopot pieces I ordered.
You’ll want to fill your initial tray fill at 5.9 and I only add a few gallons during the early veg stage and usually estimate 1 gallon per pot for the first few weeks of growth. After the tray fill. I add the rest at a lower PH for the drift once they’ve hit around week 3 of veg the appetite picks up and you’ll start adding more to the rest. I fill and refill on Saturdays or Sundays

Sounds like a plan Brother. I usually start out around 4 gallons for 2 plants and usually during the stretch and mid flower I’m up to around 10 gallons for a week of feed
I have the 14 gallon tank. Thinking of getting a second that way I can run diff nutes if I need.
I fimmed today. Think I just did like usual. Of course the tops are never in the exact same stage of growth but I think it’ll work.
I did not move to the autopot reservoir yet; I’ll have feed till they show me they are going good after the fim.
Hey og. You say fill the tray with 5.9 and then go lower for reservoir. How low are we talking 5.7?
Then (because I know I will) if I check the reservoir and the ph has risen to say 6.0; am I adjusting that to a lower amount. I guess my question is better phrased …….where do you start reservoir after the autopots trays are already filled and then how high do you allow the reservoir to drift up before dropping ph?
