In between bud densities

Hey, guys! I wanted to make a topic on here about bud density, and what it truley means to the end result of your grow.

I undestand alot of people are concerned about growing dense buds. I know, because i was one of them. But, as i have gone a little further down this rabbit hole of beautiful botanical fun and fitness, i have seen alot of different bud shapes, sizes and types. But what does it truely mean for your personal grow if they are dense or not?

If you are only worried about weight, then density may be what you are looking for. But i have seen some killer buds that you could tell right away were a heavy sativa side, like Kali Mist. It has very airy looking buds. I grew some buds on one of my last grows that i was disappointed with at first because they looked so airy, but i the effects off it were just as good, if not better then my plant that had alot more dense buds on it. I feel like i like a good in between airy and dense!

What do you guys feel in the subject of bud density?

What were some of your favorite not so dense buds you have gotten or grown in the past? :potted_plant::metal::dash:

Nice topic for the new folks with solid lights wondering. You are absolutely correct that strain is determining factor if everything is in line. Even hybrids vary seed to seed. Some take on Indica while the sister bean takes the sativa traits. 1 plant fat solid flowers while sister stretches with less dense flowers. Just what I see.

I agree with you @Strungthru.

Just wanted to mention that subpar lighting is going to fluff your buds everytime regardless.

I guess my post is what you mentioned, where lighting is perfect, and its more genetics at that point for how they bud out

Some nugs are so hard theyre harder to chop and dont roll good joints. But thats just how I smoke it. I think the very dense stuff is better for pipes n bongs

You should absolutely expect some genetics to produce more airy buds than others.
