Im going to finish these wayward girls

I started this grow with almost zero knowledge, light cycle 18/6 and flipped to 12/12 at some early stage of veg, used fox farm 3 pack and some garden soil i bought by the cubic yard for my wifes outdoor garden. Used tap water at a ph of 8 ish ppm low 400 and full strength nutes every other watering according to fox farm directions with no idea what was going in or coming out. Also used t5ho lighting, hey it worked good for starting pepper plants i started indoors, why not for marijuana?

I found myself spending much more time at home with my my wife as she got sick and started actually started doing some research and realized how many things ive done completely wrong.

I dropped my t5 light fixture while trying to adjust height with a chain and hook thing i rigged up and really f***ed up a couple of plants. I just cut one completely out and the other cut most of it out to dry although they werent quite ready.

Was thinking of cutting it all out and starting fresh. I’ve been reading through lots of threads and saw some advice from @OGIncognito to someone else that encouraged them to finish what seemed like a hopeless grow just for the learning experience.

These poor girls are now under ac infinity lights, i now know what ph and ec is in and out, my humidity is in the 40% range wich i know is low and temps in lung room hover around 80. Gotta change some things for next grow. Any suggestions for making the best out of this would be appreciated.

Thanks all for being here

Ride it and make some hash.

The drying process aint always straight forward either so use this as a practice run for that too. Would be awful to ruin a full crop.

Plus now you’ve learned how hardy these plants are even when everything isnt up to par.

You could maybe grab yourself another small light and start vegging new ones in a separate space if possible in the meantime. Then you’ll have a little production line going.

Silver linings :metal:

It might be too far into flowering, but you could try get more of an angle on your larger main branches and see if that will encourage some lateral stuff to grow.

For what it’s worth, i still think you’re gonna end up with one or two decent buds

@Dinky, i forgot to tag you my friend, your the one that noticed my tent floor needed to be cleaned, lol

My new found love of growing marijuana has got me a little overwhelmed with info.

Im curing the 3.2 oz buds ive had to cut in a sealed jar just trying to get a feel for this from start to finish. Ill probably give the stuff ive cut to my dumb kid that lives in the basement and wants to make butter. It might all turn out bad but i can get better from here.

In the mean time i guess im stuck paying 160 plus per oz illegally or paying 240+ at dispensery for flower im not even allowed to put a flame to in this state. Gotta buy one of them vapor type mofos if you want to inhale legally. In my oppinnion, nothing tastes better than a good old fasioned hand rolled doob!

@Dinky also ordered some clips for bending that i want for next grow, they’ll be here tomorrow, thinking going to bend over and drop the light a little for to see if it will help with lower stuff.

Also thinking i have a 4x4 tent i bought used, i only have enough lighting for one or two plants, would i be better off using that instead of the 4x8 just for reflective purposes?

Oh snap whaddup dude lol

Cool sounds like you’ve got a good plan. Yea id stick with the smaller tent if you’re only going to run that many.

Did you dry the 3.2oz before curing?

What AC light you running growmie?

@Dinky well i hung them in the tent for 12 hours then threw them in a sealed jar i open and let air out for about 15 minutes twice a day, they are still very wet to touch

I dunno about most dude but for me thats not near long enough to dry.

My process - (by no means perfect or everyones way but it works)

I keep everything except the main stem. So big large branches and all buds/leaves intact. Hang for 48 hours like that.

Then I’ll cut the biggest fan leaves. Another 48 hours.

Then I’ll separate into individual buds and cut all leaves, but i still have my sugar leaves at this stage.

From there it boils down to bud size for how long each one takes, i often find myself trimming individual buds in mini sessions rather than one big go session. I guess I kind of semi dry trim.

Everything sits in a emptied out steel poker case after that, not air sealed just tight. Over the course of a week or so everything will be finished. THEN it will go into grove bag to cure all together.

But thats 4 days of guaranteed drying, then a further week of semi drying. Then curing begins.

Oh also running acinfinity ev04 ion frame, 2×4, guessing good for one or two plants,

Ill give a review here for what i know about acinfinity.

I am very impresses by the packaging, the overall feel of quality of product, the ease of setup instructions, all the cool gadgets that came with it, including my favorite thing was the rope pulley assembly that makes so easy to raise and lower.(take that from a guy that just dropped a light fixture and crushed most of his stuff) i would highly recommend acinfinity!
