Yea I believe it is you may need to slightly lower your ph that may be your problem
@Thetattedmann what are the ingredients of that seed starting mix?
Spagnaum moss,peat moss,same thing I used,when I killed 12 bs
This time I went out to my old hen house scratch back the grass , and used plain old dirt and two palm full of that jiffy.and my SD fem is coming right along
Lol I’m getting predictable! Hahaha @Nug-bug
@bob31 @Nug-bug yea That’s it. I’m just going to mix it with some soil now. I got my seeds in from ilgm yesterday. Could I mix it with my FFOF since that’s gonna be the soil I use?
I wouldn’t recommend mixing soil and soilless mixes as they require two different pH levels.
You’ll be fighting nutrient defficiencies from start to finish.
@bob31 would it be that bad if it’s just thru the seedling stage? A couple weeks till I put in bigger pots with real soil?
Its up to you on when to transplant. If they are ok then wait.
Can you estimate what percent of each you have in the cups? If you have more than about 10% soilless you need to water in with pH 5.8
Once you transplant to soil you would water 6.5 pH.
Hope this helps!?
PS you may need to not water as often as peat tends to hold moisture
Might consider a small fan to help them dry out in between watering.
Do we have sufficient drainage from those cups?
I use the same jiffy, I combine it with Ocean forest, just a little of the jiffy.
Hey brother @Thetattedmann how’s it going?
Could you take the pics in white or natural light. I can’t tell anything with the led glow lol
@bob31 forgot to tag u
I think they look great! Any issues at all? How old are they today?
@bob31 uhhh ones a month and ones about a week behind. But I think I slowed their growth down at first with the small pots but they r liking their new homes it looks like
Perfect! Keep doing !!!
@bob31 do u think I should top my plants? I’ve been looking into it but don’t know if I should with my plants or not
Refresh my memory as to their age, strain and auto/photo?
I would recommend fimming
@bob31 they r a month and bag seed
