I just set it up last night and put the lights and fan but I still need to do my exhaust set up today when I get home! I think it’s gonna be a bit hot in there till I get the exhaust all in! But fits perfectly where I’m doing it so I hopefully while have a couple nice grows soon!

So my tent is set up buttttt it was a tad bit small lol so I bought a new 48x48x80 tent so I’m gonna use my old(still brand new) as a veg and seedling tent now! I’ve got 3 sets of LEDs. All of them r 300w, 1 is a Mars hydro, ones a no brand( not as bright as the hydro) and I bought a meizi or however u spell it! Should I keep the Mars and the meizi for my new tent and keep the unbranded one in the smaller tent?

With your setup i would only do two 3-5 gal plants at a time. Those are good lights. You can start with a basic grow food and get bloom food next month to spread out expenses. I am still on my first $20 bottle of Dyna Grow Grow and the same for their Bloom after four grows. I should get two more grows out of it. There are other systems as good or better out there but this is what I consider entry level for soil growers.

That’s what I was planning. Didn’t want to do more then 2 in a single tent. And I already bought fox farms nutes. The big bloom and 2 other bottle set they have

When do u start using nutes? I started a seed I had and its started and about a week old now

@Thetattedmann what soil will you be using?

I’ll be using fox farm ocean forest and an organic seed starting mix and I’ll probably mix in a little bit of work castings cause I heard they were good

Ffof already has work castings and sprouts will do well with a starter mix. Just be aware that a soil mix is usually more of a soil less medium and you will need to water at 5.8 pH. Check the bag to see what the mix contains!

I wouldn’t add anything to either soils. Both should be fine as they are.

@Hawkeye_diesel @Hogmaster having a little problem with a couple seedlings. Seedling in red cup is like 3 weeks old… Yes 3 weeks! It was it a jiffy pot with not enough soil. I transplanted it and it starting to actually grow now. The other one in the jiffy pot is just weird looking, the stem is purple and the 2 bottom leaves r turning orange.

They r both in organic seed starter and being water with ph’ed 6.4ish water and they r both just bag seed under a meizhi 300 led

@Stomper @Majiktoker what do u think about the post above? Don’t know if it’s doing good or bad

Some damage but could be from being root bound or getting too dry or too wet, both cause issues. Watch the new growth to see if it improves. Growth stalling is a sign of root bound.

Ok that’s what I thought! It’s def doing better since I’ve transplanted it. How big before I transplant them to their forever homes?

I agree with @Stomper how often do they get watered they look a tad to wet roots could be damaged from staying a little to wet and yes growth stalling and worsening condition could also be a cause of needing a transplant and also what is the name of your medium, or what type of organic medium

They get watered daily when I can tell the soil is dry. And it’s organic seed starter that is next to the jiffy seed starting stuff. I’d have to look at it when I get home @Majiktoker

What i Meant by medium, is it a medium with sphagnum moss

I think soooo… Here’s a pic
