I'm a newb and starting an indoor grow

@bob31 do you recommend fimming on auto’s?? if so when what sort of node??

I wouldn’t recommend fimming an auto I’d be afraid it would mess up the flowering. I think it can be done but the timing would need to be perfect. It’s something I might try myself but I wouldn’t recommend it to a new grower.

And now here is more of what I was saying

Will says it can be done but echos my remark about the timing being critical.

I tried taking a cutting once (clone) and well that didn’t work out to well lmao… it rooted lovely in fairness but ended up just growing the branch I cut off nothing more… @bob31 guess I will wait til I get a bit more practice before I try it then lol… I’m happy with my yield but would never turn down the opportunity of an extra quarter or so per plant

thats what I’ve seen. Most agree that if the plant was left alone it would have grown another harvest-able bud and that you will actually hurt your harvest. Those Auto’s are funny buggars!

your not wrong there @bob… its why I asked when you mentioned FIM’ng and Auto’s in the same sentence… I’ve only done 4 crops with auto’s and well this crop I got now is from a friends clones thought i’d try them, Fems way to slow for me cant wait to get back to auto’s… am almost tempted to try FIM’ng 1 on the crop… whats the worst that can happen??

ohh wait I know lose 14g on a plant lol decisions decisions

If there not autos… I would tell you to cut the crap out of them and start cloning them…
You will be shocked at how fast they bounce back…
I do outrageous things to my ladies and they always come back…
I’ve been neglecting my girls for almost 2 months now and there just mad for now…
I will take them out to dinner and give them a nice pat on the butt… and they will be just fine…

:v: :sunglasses:

Wish I went for 10 autos @B345T, northern lights is a decent yielder to

nice looking girls being trained too that’s what i like to see :)… shame you guys don’t get these http://www.onestopgrowshop.co.uk/images/detailed/3/93254_Bendz_-_Pack_Of_50.jpg (that links just to the image not the site so hopefully not breaking any rules) they are awesome for training lil auto’s but seems its a UK thing… My next run will be 9 auto’s there is lots of room that or i just grow small plants :confounded: lmao… will keep a journal once i start be a couple of weeks got 2 big girls in the tent right now… I hear rave reviews about the seeds on here @McLovin777 gutted i had just purchased 6strains before realising this place had its own gene pool :frowning: i was just using the guides and the grow bible to help me get started but definitely gotta try a few from here next time round.

Couldn’t agree more, kind of sucks nor to be able to mention other seed banks though as I’ve seen some pretty amazing ones. I plan to get some from here and this Spanish place, unbelievable you tube videos

@bob31 @Stomper @Hawkeye_diesel has any of u used the fabric pots? I have the 7 gallon ones and was wondering if they r reuseable or if I’m gonna have to buy new ones for each grow?

I haven’t used them. I use the commercial grade nursery plastic pots. Spent too many years as a landscaper, got used to how to move and carry them.

That’s what I was planning on using but these seemed nice with the handles and all! I just hope I can use them for a few different grows

I use them and I love em. I just throw mine in the washer with some soap and maybe a little hydrogen peroxide an let it air dry, at least that’s what I do

@Thetattedmann I’m also using them and love them. Very reusable!

Here’s an inside pic of my 48x48x80 tent! Gonna move 2 of these plants into my small tent once this one gets a little crowded but it’s working great for now
