I'm a new guy here, BUT... I'm having Problems with my latest Grow

I have a rather unique problem. First off, I’ve got all of these are all Bruce Banner Autos from ILGM. The Runt in the middle has an interesting story. I planted 2 seeds, and somehow, a new plant germinated where I wasn’t expecting it, so I took the 3rd one, and offered it up to a neighbor, and he grew it outside, but it was really slow growing, AND it was outside instead of using a tent. And when I concluded that it’d never turn out as the plant would never have enough time to finish without a tent, I just offered to use my tent to finish the girl off! Humity is approx 55%, The temps are around 76 F. All plants are Autos!

The other two plants look very healthy, and they germinated 1 month ago, as they were planted on August 1st. The one on the far right is doing great, and it’s now almost 10 inch

I’ve got some weird mottling going on with the leaves…. Could I be fertailizing too much? I trimmed this girl off, and I’m concerned about the leaves being too

I can’t see real well…do you have drain holes in those containers…lots of drain holes.

Even if the answer is yes, i would put more holes in the sides of the container. The roots need air too. That may be the issue. Other than that, make sure you water heavily, then let the soil dry and then hit it again.

What are you feeding them?

It’s looking like wet spots from the food and the light dried it and it burned the leaf, doesn’t look like a serious problem unless I’m missing the bigger picture :face_with_monocle:

That really looks like just droplets from watering that dried on leaf. Young plants love higher humidity so i been told. I normally keep it round 60 62 in early veg. Soil looks dry but that could just be my old eyes. One thing i learned is feed your soil more so then plant early on ( microbial ). Get them roots growing strong . Do you feed soil ?

I bet if you were to look during lights off hours some of your leaves are in the medium, the edges that’s laying in it when medium is wet is leeching onto the leaves and when lights on the leaves perk back up an are getting burned.

One other idea. Is the area affected maybe getting wind burn from the fan? I have had leaves start looking strange from too much wind.

Oh yes… There are plenty of drain holes. And if you look closely, you may see that they do have plenty of drainage, and there are holes near the bottom. Not sure it’s visible, but I made sure that the drainage is second to none! I only fertilize once every other day, but I’m thinking of cutting the amount to every 3 days, or maybe water it down.

I’m feeding them here! –> FoxFarm Fertilizer Soil Trio Liquid Nutrient: Tiger Bloom, Grow Big, Big Bloom Quart Bottles - (Pack of 3-32 oz)

I’m seeing a possibility of a possible problem, and testing for a solution. And, you’re right. If that’s the worst problem I have, then I’m good with that. The discoloration bothers me, but I’ve had worse problems. Thanks!

From what I can see she is over watered and it’s causing problems. Too much water and not enough oxygen in the soil could strangle your roots slowing growth. But I could be wrong.

Could someone confirm.

If that’s true, I’d be surprised if it was overwatering! I add one cup of fertalizer misture and water them every other day. On the odd days, I don’t really water, as much as giving them a shower with a mister!

No I’m sorry it got crossed, I was answering @Bigbloomer78 .

Yours I think is either wind burn or lense burn. Yours are beyond the mister unless you are doing it at night and enough air circulation to dry the droplets before light comes on.

Well now! I hadn’t thought of that! And you may have a point. I just recently turned down a fan because it was blowing too hard on a couple of the leaves, and they started taking on signs of being too hard from the fan! Thanks… will look harder into this. :face_savoring_food:

I’m going up to address that right now. I may end up moving the fan to another area! THANKX TO ALL!

Yeah you don’t have to mist them they are feeding from the roots now.

Definitely was a combination of wind and lense burn. That’s my honest opinion.
