The Hindu is doing well, the canopy is coming along as she grows… For the next watering I’ll be starting on the Jacks 321 for both plants…
A couple waterings with the Jacks 321 and the girls seem happy. The new growth on the Pure Indica is nice and healthy, even with the high temps…
The Pure Indica has been topped, and the bottom few nodes/branches removed as they were underdeveloped compared to the rest of the plant. The interior was cleaned up to aid with airflow…
The Hindu Kush has had a good amount of daily defoilage, very bushy… She’s still tied down to even the canopy…
All in all they’re doing well, they’ve been on an 18/6 light schedule until this week where I’ve been shortening the light cycle by an hour a day. They’re about half the size I want, and I also have some remodeling planned so they need to be done by early Fall…
The switch has been made to 12/12 and the stretch is on.! The Pure Indica is an easy one to maintain, I haven’t had to do much pruning beyond removing the occasional interior leaf, I like the node spacing it’s easy to get to…
The Hindu Kush needs a lot of defol it grows like crazy. If I had this one alone in the tent and vegged for another few weeks it could have filled it on its own…
As it turned out I flipped fully to 12/12 at 8 weeks for the Pure Indica, and 9 weeks for the Hindu Kush (from sprout). So not a long veg period overall…
I thinned out the Hindu Kush after the first pic… They’ve both grown really well considering the high temps they’ve been subjected to. The grobuckets are working really well, easy to water (after removing the fan leaves in front of the fill tube)… Watering every third day, takes a gallon or so each…
Pure Indica
Hindu Kush
They were both at 2’ when I flipped to 12/12, now they’re both at 3’ a week (or so) later. Bud sites are forming, lots of white pistils, and they are drinking a lot more. The buckets hold ~1 gallon, I was doing every 3rd day, then every 2nd, and will be doing a gallon every day soon it seems… Quick and easy though… I did a major defoliation to clean things up, removed anything that wasn’t super developed and to allow for good airflow…
