a updated pic 3 rd week tomorrow
@Budz
Since their leaves are over the sides of the cups. Let the medium dry a little and transplant them. Running out of root room. That’s always my signal when it’s time. When the leaves are wider than the cup. Great work by the way.
thank you I will do it ASAP and I would not know how or what too do if you did not give me the advice I needed @Budz
hey my friend I just repotted my girls you let me if they look ok I feel like they are dropping down @Budz
If you just repoted in fresh soil that means no nutrients again. Like I hope I said earlier. Or at least implied. Meaning if you are using ffof or a mixture of ffof/hf. You will litterally only use the yellow/red nutrients… If just happy frog or less you can start a little sooner. But even in happy frog with a fresh transplant, 4 weeks till full feed after transplant.
I hear you and yes I just repotted them last night and yes I have not use no nutrients I probably won’t being that you stated before when I did ask that question and willing I still remember what you told me that’s why I appreciate you for everything you do too help me out I also filtered out my tap and believe it or not it came out at about ph 6.2 6.3 but it was jumping @Budz
and I also move the light up to about 30 inches from the plants I hade them at 24 inches you think the change of the height of the light is going to matter?? @Budz
Anywhere in that area will do you fine right now. Just make sure to give her a dry cycle before watering again. You know, feels empty, before watering again.
Jumping? What meter do you use? I’m really high atm off my hash.
If it’s hitting anywhere in 6.2-6.5. just use it. The main idea is to learn to adjust your nutrients as needed when needed. Honestly why I love jacks. It’s almost perfect for growing this product period. Even RBs runs hot. Even with lowers numbers in such soils still runs hot. But RB is the easiest to mix. Even in an innert medium like coco it’s only one ingredient added every other watering for all weeks except 2-4. But it really is that strong. At the same time
Jacks is like 3 set measure Everytime
But can be fed every watering safely. And adjusted as needed safely.
I’ve adjusted the RB to my own uses technically. It’s not as simple to do. Since the power of the nutrients is so much more on scale. As in 1gram of RB equals more than the total of 321. Being 7.2
So one gram > 7.2 of jacks.
Jacks is still cheaper tho
hey I’m using a vivuson ph meter and it came with a tds meter also @Budz
Begin nutrient feed after flower flip or monitor runoff ppms and begin feed once they drop below ~850. You’ll find these to be close to the same time. On a regular schedule.
There’s a place on the nute site that says “use when you see signs of def”. Meaning if is a complete furt like stated. Just be careful with it when in a medium already nutrient rich. Even at my best care I’ve always burned during transition with FFHF and RBs. Just less since I’ve made my own adjustments. But I want to push through week 5 flower hard too. Small burn going into flower just doesn’t concern me. Burn or even heat burn on old leaves. Doesn’t concern me. Once you get in those last few weeks.
Which you are far from. I was just getting ahead of myself.
I believe I linked latewoods findings already too. Note his are for an innert medium or non super soil. Which fox farms are super soils. So your runoff should be a little more. But not much more than these numbers if you want to start a feed push. These are already high numbers in a non innert medium.
Atleast when using a rhizo boost. Which I won’t do without ever again.
Rhizo boosts like tribus really bring less is more to life.
One other note. Just to clarify after a quick read through this thread. I have always followed the feeding chart for hydro, and soil-less (Promix BX). Mostly I do this to test the recommendaitons of the Bergman’s fertilizer.
If I were using Super soil or FF, I would wait until flowering most likely, (I let the plants decide) When I started ot use the nutrient program, I would follow the feeding schedule. Using the feeding schedule of Bergman’s fertilizer, I have found the ppm’s to be very tolerant.
I just started using the Seedling booster last week, and 1/2 tsp. as recommended added 400 ppm to my well water of 200 ppm = 600 ppm. PLants are jumping and lush.
thank you so much so when I start the fox farm nut it’s going too just be that one you yellow/red I think and it’s going too be after a few more weeks from now because of transplant? @Budz
Yes. The nutrients in your fresh transplant must be accounted for. So no feed till ppms drop. I don’t wait for my plants to tell me, I push them hard up till flower week 5. I have gnarly looking fan leaves right now. But they are unimportant at this point. Week 6 flower.
I technically don’t even monitor ppms in my soil grows. Since I use only FFHF with up to 15% extra perlite added. I can start feed light week one. By week 4 I’m feeding what is 100%, for me, 1-2 times a week. Every fourth day.
wow hey I have too say they are beautiful dude that’s why I try and save all that information you give me so I can try and succeed at my first grow and I have not gave them anything not even cal-mag or tribus and I’m going too wait like you too me too @Budz
I’d go ahead and add tribus next watering. The longer the colonies have the better
ok cool I was just thinking the same thing but wanted too ask ahead of time I appreciate that thank you @Budz
it going to be 1 ml correct or 2 ml it says on container that’s the doses ? @Budz
