ILGM Grow Club Mentors – Call for Intermediate to Experienced Growers

Oi, don’t get me started. If I hit a target temp, then my rh spikes. If I get the rh in line, temps shoot up. I don’t worry much in veg. Then come January and February and I can barely get either up in range. I think I hit like 22%rh for a few days a couple years ago lol.

I was thinking the same thing but after thinking on it, on my first grow I would have paid someone to hold my hand :joy:. I am no @Budbrother with soil, but we do know enough basics to get a new grower going in the right direction. About to have alot more free time come Jan, so I thought this would be a good way to use some of my new found time.

Oh i like this idea. When i first started growing tomatoes and other crops years ago, i had no idea what i was doing. Dirt and water and your good, nope i was so wrong. I could of benefited from such a program. Then i put that aside for years, now i am back to growing again. But now i have added cannabis to this.

Im still learning a bunch all the time, but im not completely green. I feel i could still learn way more, and i would love to give back more. ILGM is a great resource, so thanks to all the helpful people here. This is the greatest grow forums and community i have found. So Thank You. And i am willing to help if i can.

Always down to help anyone anyway I can, yall know me Im just simple, basic, what ya see is what ya get kinda grower. I believe in the minimalist approach and have had success with that method, keeping myself and several other family members stocked up on meds for quite a few years now. Anyway I can give back to this amazing community I am grateful to. :100::folded_hands::victory_hand:

Good morning my friend. This very well may be your problem I have found that when my closet gets above that 90° mark my buds start becoming less dense more airy and I get more foxtailing. I started opening my door some of the lights on during the summer and of course I put a fan blowing into the grow room. I’ve been able to keep my heat down closer to 80 or 85. And it’s definitely a working better for me. :waving_hand::waving_hand::victory_hand:

This is a great idea :+1: And if matched right. Could teach those interested a lot quicker. I think it should also be considered to try and match some one with the area they are in. So some thing like west coast vs east coast. I know that what works here for me. May not be so great for some one on the east coast. I was fortunate to have some of the best people here to help me out when I started. I will offer my o2 even though it is not asked for  For those with a mentor. Follow what the mentor says over what others will be sharing along the way. Some times to many cooks can spoil the soup. This sounds like a great program. I just wish it was here about 4 years ago  Will there be a section to follow all these growers in one place. It would be nice to see how much every one can improve

I’m 75 and a so-so grower after all these years , whilst my pot may not look like centetrfold material it takes me to that special place.
Just read ILGM’s fabulous Grow advice , but you must grow with humour and happy vibes…my plants like Miles Davies and Chet baker with a hint of Captain Beefheart…enjoy :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I’ve been doing Beethoven’s 6th symphony and it’s funny how the leaves start perking up to the light and like they are dancing to it. I know it’s the fan moving the plants around but still kinda looks like they are dancing

Try Mahlers Fifth just before harvest for extra juice . :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I’m only 67, but have to grow with a smile. My plants like classic rock, Steppenwolf, Led Zeppelin, cheap trick, April wine, and during down time I throw in a little classic country.

I don’t feel anywhere near qualified to mentor at this level but hope to get there. I have helped quite a few very beginner growers after sharing some of my pictures and end products with friends and family. I’ve probably given away about 60-75 seeds so far just to get them going. But I would hope to continue to get better with each grow, listen and try things recommended by the legends on here, and then end up knowledgeable enough to participate. A mans gotta have goals!

As far as the music goes, I have found that the plants hate being harvested to “Ride of the Valkyries” being played really loud while I am laughing maniacally… ask me how I know…lol
