ILGM Grow Club Mentors – Call for Intermediate to Experienced Growers

Lights run from 11 pm to 11 am. Temps stayed around 80 with lights on until RH got too high, and the exhaust from the dehumidifier pushed it up. Next grow I’m going back to the shop where I have a lung room

This is a cool idea. I read a lot and wasted many watts starting out. Bought a lot of crap I didn’t need and eventually threw away too.

Pick your area you comfortable in and roll with it.. you are an amazing grower

Great idea! Another way that ILGM gives back to our community :hugs:

Good point, but our main focus at first will certainly be soil. I assume most growers have experience with soil and will be able to help newbies out with questions w/ regard to soil grows. But expertise from any particular area is welcome, of course!

Yeah but then your daytime is really your nighttime, & you don’t want higher temps during the night (in ur case, the day) which is inevitable since it’s warmer then. You might have adjusted to get good lights on temps, but are doing a disservice for them at the same time having your lights off temps higher than normal.

My plants don’t know anything other than the environment I put them in so the outside world aka sun has no bearing.

As long as you control your environment the sun and everything else doesn’t matter. That’s the purpose of the grow lights.

Oh and welcome to the greatest forum on the internet.

If that cola was smaller, would you have used a Diet Sprite for size comparison?

Nope I would have used this jar for comparison :joy::joy::joy:

Not really true if you are controlling the temperature inside your house anyway. The plants are in a closet or closed tent, they are blind to the outside temperature swings unless you are changing your heat/ac settings inside.

Welcome @Raptorshatter

Oddly enough, we have identified a potential location and local leader for Virginia, which we’ll be speaking with this week!

Yep! This is part of the approach, we’ll set short calls to chat with each mentor so we capture their specific skillsets and can match accordingly!

Sounds great to me. I’m very excited

Hey @kuczeruk , I’m assuming by your post that you are an ILGM person? It threw me off for a second because a lot of the peeps on here that are have the @ILGM tag on their names. Just wanted to say howdy! Thanks for getting this setup. I had the best time meeting the ILGM staff at the Home Grow Tour in Palm Springs. Looking forward to more events and meeting up with the locals. Have fun. And Welcome!

She’s a good learner for sure. I’ve planted the Promix seed on her and it’s finally popped! lol She is going to do a Promix run next. She hasn’t realized yet I was just pushing her to learn other methods, then she would have a solid grasp of each media and grow style, and she could pick her favorite.

Bro ILGM is about to get a dadgum canna-college going :rofl::rofl: I would love to be in on this, but I’m in a red zone and honestly, just don’t have the knowledge. I can grow some good good, but don’t know jack about specifics.

Don’t sell yourself short Monsieur @Borderryan22 . You’re an excellent pharmer that would surely be able to teach a newbie a few great tricks. :star_struck:

Same boat here, red zone, so in person is totally out. Besides I know zero about dirt, been hydro since day 1, although I know enough about nutes and such, I still have a hard time controlling temps in the summer.
