3rd Grow

Process so far:

11/23 started germination process using paper towel method

11/25 germinated and planted in quart size Cow Pots. (100% biodegradable and drop in final container - zero transplant stress this way. I use a Solo cup to make labels :sunglasses: FF Happy Frog and Coco Loco with some vermiculite for soil (will use Coco Loco mix for final pot). Supreme Grower’s Supre Myco Tea for water. Set under T5 lights 24/7 with zip lock domes.

Ordered a Gorilla Extension 5x5 tent and upgraded inline fan to Cloudline T6 with temp/humidity controller.
Upgraded the AutoPot valves to the larger ones that can handle organics.
99% decided on Advanced Nutrients and still figuring out which ones I will use.

Nice start, I’m going to watch this one I’m interested in this strain and I use advanced nutrients.

Which ones do you use? The choices are mind boggling. I know there is ‘beginner’ level but I am brave with FIM, topping, LST, and even supercropping on the first grow so I figure I will be fine with them.

I use the whole line in hydro and coco coir.

If your using coco loco for flower I would get the sensi coco line. Happy frog has nutes in it, not sure how it will work with the coco. What % of each did you use?

I’m thinking you might just have to supplement calmag with the happy frog the coco will lock out some of it so it is possible to get a deficiency.

Not sure, but don’t worry too much as it is only the quart size and it will be hydro with roots at bottom. I know, should be a bit more precise, but I used some I had mixed for the finishing grow now so can’t remember exactly. I want to say about 50 HF, 40 vermiculite, and smidge of Coco Loco.

Nice, I was just looking at happy frog I’m thinking of a full on soil grow in the future. I’ll be watching.
Happy growing :seedling:

My very first grow was 100% Happy Frog and did well. I am just utilizing what I have as we are under a fairly strict quarantine due to rampant uptick of virus. Oh, and I will use our well water this time rather than distilled. Getting into a store is impossible now with 75 person hard limit. No just running out to get some. But, we are on nothing but raw well water. The fish in the aquarium do well with it and no water treatment other than Dr Tims probiotics, so thinking it will work really well for them.

I do have an entire bag of Ocean that I bought and have not used as I went hydroponic. May just put it in the garden next spring.

Looking good!I will be tagging along too if that’s cool.My CM is still at least 2 weeks away, and by the time I’m harvesting, yours will be well on their way!I love this strain already, and I haven’t even smoked any yet. Beautiful thick plants.

@Weedlover1 I am super excited about this grow. Having the larger tent will make it more fun and more head room for them. I can’t wait to hear how yours is when you try it. Interested in the extra punch of CBD. My achy bones could sure use it today. Post photos! I bet they smell amazing.

I’ll try to post some this weekend, and I too am looking forward to see how the CBD in it works,my recently operated on knee is looking forward to it.I cut a bud yesterday, too soon I know, but I wanted to try a little anyway. Its got a hard to describe smell, not as skunks as I thought, more subtle.

I do test buds prior to harvest. It is a rudimentary drying method but gives me an idea of the high and effects. It tends to be grassy but that is okay. What I do is turn the oven on 170, lowest it will go, turn it off around 150 if I can catch it, leave light on. Set on a strainer and let dry. I will break up the buds when it seems close to dry to speed it along. Not something to do on an entire harvest but good way to check efficacy.

@Budz420 tagging ya

Okay, I made the most impressive rookie mistake ever and back to germinating. Glad I went for the 10+10 sale rather than five seeds. I put a little heater in the small closet for a few minutes, while working in the grow room and forgot about it, cooking the tiny seedlings. Oh, and I had put the ziplock on them, and think I did that earlier than should have. Oh, and I remembered the soil mix I put in the seedling pots is NOT FF Happy Frog but FF Ocean with vermiculite and some Coco Loco that I had mixed for a patio grow and didn’t use due to our fickle weather. I mean, really, I label the dogs, why didn’t I label that bag of mix? Geesh is my face red! I can’t believe I did this.

We’re human, stuff happens. Sucks to kill plants but thankfully you have more beans. No worries. I accidentally re-vegged one tent due to plugging supplemental light into wrong outlet. They’re twice as big and looking good again.

Cannabis Cheri says to use fan leaves in a salad. Sounds like you could eat a lot of free green this winter!

I could make salad in a wheelbarrow  LOL with the leaf I have.I actually do eat it raw though in salads and on sandwiches instead of lettuce.I can only eat so much though.

Okay, round two of seeds. Used a smaller Cow Pot today and put them in the mushroom tent, temporarily and hopefully only a couple of days. New tent coming and harvesting tent now. Two more plants after today to go on harvest but should only be a few days out.
