I Usually Don't Do This

I don’t really do much stress training besides FIM/topping…so I decided to try something.

Thanks @kaptain3d for the inspiration.

It looked fun so I got a couple of things, went into the seed box and decided to wing it.

Blue Dream and Durban Poison…5 gal pots FF soil, GH nutes.

Blue took a little longer to come up so she’s just clipped right now…and Durban got an accidental top so gonna see how that goes.

No idea what I’m doing but that’s alright :call_me_hand:t6:

Amazing start!

My mistakes with the Flèches is keeping too many budsites every time. Maybe try to take the smallest shoots off to get bigger buds in the end.

I will be following avidly my friend :+1:

I didn’t really think about the pruning aspect before I started this

I was gonna let Blue Dream go but decided to go ahead anyways. She was a little harder to get down though.

Have a good day y’all :waving_hand:t5:

What I kinda like about this method so far is that the soil stays shaded so it stays wet a little longer.

Still working on cutting smaller stuff as they’re getting easier to pick out.

And that’s part of the reason why I insist when people try this to make sure no leaves stays touching the soil. That would be breeding ground for mold…

Your planties are looking fantastic! :+1: :star_struck:

Yup! I figured that out n tried to clear it before the bend and ended up having to clear more

Thank you. I’ve been watching your latest victim lookin good :eyes: :clap:t5:

Officially out of sticks…started with 32. I was able to spread DP one more time but she’s back up the next day like nothing happened

I’ve been able to take sticks from the first bends/twists because they’re trained down and not really going anywhere so doing 2 at once hasn’t been an issue. So I guess it’s a good thing Blue came up a little late after all :call_me_hand:t6:

Gonna let Durban Poison veg on her own from here then try out what I’ve learned on Blue dream.

-note- have more sticks next time

Everything’s been goin good. No PM or anything so far just been pruning and bending. I’m waiting on some seedlings to move over to the nursery area then I’m going for the flip :raising_hands:t6:

Happy weekend y’all :raising_hands:t6: :clinking_beer_mugs:

Thank you thank you Kap :folded_hands:t5: I also like how this works for adding tops(mainlining?). The sprouts will move in about a week and a half 2 weeks so they’ll stretch a little more.

Yours are looking nice! I wanted to let them stretch more before the initial snap but wasn’t sure about space running 2 in the 4x4

Ladies are lookin good and drinking their water.

One more week until flip time.

About a week into the flip n the stretch is coming along pretty good I think.

Hey y’all. Everything’s going good. I also like that this saved me like foot of space so the take off from the flip isn’t Killin me like it normally would lol.

Updates are slower…jus getting my behind whooped by the garden nursery waiting on the final frost to pass :face_exhaling:

Hope y’all are doin good. It’s almost time to go outside here in MI :raising_hands:t6:
