I think these may be ready?

plan on using my tent for hanging and drying. Curing i bought grove bags we’ll see how those work. Storage i have typically used glass jars and keep those in my gunsafe so its constant tempt and dark.

just found a video of Utah state university professor Bugbee saying flushing and dark doesn’t really do anything if you grow correctly… I think my flush was/is necessary due to the nute buildup and burn at the end of this grow. So i actually feel kinda good about that.

Do you grow outside? is that why you wash? I haven’t read into that much at all.

I haven’t tried dark yet. I can tell you the the Idea of flushing nutes out of the plant with a lot of water isn’t sound as you say. However, the plant needs less and less as it ripens so I dial back and eventually plain water the last week or two to cause the plant to, for lack of a better term, “die naturally” and ripen evenly.

Yes, and NO, respectively, until I got USB Microscope.
Outdoor plants for Summer 23 utilized as re-vegers, indoors winter 2023-24.
Then I saw bugs with x1500 USB Microscope.
Since, I wash everything in 50/50 H2O2 and H2O.
For long period. Drown them Fukrs, I hope.

All weed washed becomes softer, cleaner, and Who knows, maybe kills the bugs or washes off the PURE CROP 1.

Still working out the “kinks” or “bugs”.
TBT tester smoke getting better, bugs or not.
Cured smoke was bug free, maybe.
Now I look with Microscope, and keep or toss.

Got plenty room, this week

Im just know getting to understand how to use ppms and ph ing my water. I been growing for almost 2 years. Some good out comes but most where mediocre at best. Its definitely a science around it if you will. I was going through nutrients like crazy. Often wondered why most of my flower had a harsh taste and no real flavor. Some was pretty good guess its just luck of the draw. Then i started to wonder why my plants are always small and weak looking . I was burning the girls up. Hopefully i can save this batch and get right on the next set. Definitely will be dialing back for sure.

Just wanted to follow up and let everyone know that i have got my grow into grove bags for the cure. Ended up being just a gram or two shy of 7 ounces. Not too bad for an auto!! Took a bud out for early testing tonight!

thanks for all the help in the chaotic ending to my first run. I’m excited to get on to my second grow after i get back from vacation in a few weeks. Pretty soon i will return the favor and help others like you all helped me. this site rocks!

Congrats. The vacation is always needed, but often, not possible.
Good growing with great results, is awesome, but often difficult or not possible.
Growing and kids, sometimes fun. keep an eye on the bags.
They store better in controlled climate conditions.

Found this old post of yours. So do you recommend washing I! 50 % h202 and h20 ?
And then a good rinse off afterwards ?

I used that ratio, for small quantity washing.
Next week, I will try two pints/3-gal bottled water.
Then rinse in distilled 2 gallons.
Larger volume to be washed.
Forum reading supported 1pint (16oz) for a gallon, I think.
Not sure of results, but weed cleaner, softer, still smokes.

Oh-well, I got that wrong, maybe.

The ones that you just posted were the ratios I had seen others using. Tomorrow I will close in the area in the shed with plastic and figure out ventilation… I had considered not covering the ceiling but I think it would be better to have complete control. Thoughts ?

Too much plastic will raise humidity.
Too much humidity will support mold growth.
Cardboard boxes can work.
Did plastic in 75 and 83 (wasted time, energy, and plastic).

That’s cool. I’ve got a shed that has a 20x14 area off to the side that is closed in on 3 sides with metal on the outside. Gravel floor .Not airtight.
The open side has two car stall doors that are open … another 20’ …
And also purchased a 79”x79”x79” tent
But…About 25 plants left atm some descent colas but not bushy

What climate zone?
Close off 4th side, with wood and door.
Pink boards (4x8x2) for insulation and slowing air transfer.

I’m in northeastern OK . Temperatures have been getting cooler I’ve got a meter out there with a few trimmings hanging out in the open and fans goin…rh get all over the place as well as the temp

I will do this.

Won’t I need to get some air in and out ?

Less insulation = more leaks.
Fans move air, eaves? attic?
are you growing or drying?
Freeze Dryer?

Just drying in there.
attic space but it’s all open.
metal exterior corners not close in but roof does not leak. I could close off with the insulation board of some type and leave the roof open for air flow but couldn’t cool it. I have a 6000 btu stand alone ac unit with dehumidifier on the way also definitely open to the suggestions
