U can lower it more honestly LED lights put out light no heat so u can usually go a few inches at the beginning then gradually raise it I’m about 12" from my tops… And just my lil veg is a platinum the other two that are budding are ransoms thought they were the same but one seems indica Dom and the other sativa dominant so I’m not sure now lol
Hmmm maybe I’ll lower it a bit and see it works out. I was seeing that heat won’t necessarily be bad from LEDs but having them close will “light burn” the plants. Or is my weak ass LED not capable of that?
It’s still capable of causing a bit of light burn.
I ran my old 300 w at 12-14 in and they seemed good. But at 10 in it would cause a bit of fringe curl.

Am I looking at P deficiency? DARK leaves, gettin a little crispy feeling and rusting…
It’s moving up the plant, started a couple days ago and is now on the bottom 4 oldest leaves. Stems have progressively been getting more purple too.
Idk if these pictures are helpful, but let me know if not and I can take more.

Thank you good sir! Yeah the stems have been getting purple as the leaves seem to mature since the beginning, but the rust spots started on the lowest leaf 3 days ago and now the edges of that leaf are all “burnt” and the beginnings of the same can now be seen on the next node up too.

Looks and sounds like nutrient burn. Dark green leaves, clawing, and burning tips/edges point to an excess of N. Starting at the bottom and moving up definitely indicates it’s a mobile nutrient issue, which fits with N toxicity. Reddening can be caused by LEDs or genetics.

Mudman…personal note to you…add to your list for purple stems…high pH and colder temps 
. @HammrTime I think Mudman covered you on N toxic, it also causes lockout on other nutes and that is wat you are currently experiencing. PH your water and check run off …I’ll add a lil chart for you…
This is very basic…but you cannot grow without a basis…

Definitely not cold temps, unfortunately I’m in the 80s and 90s with 50% - 70% humidity.
PH is 6.2 at runoff. Seems like I’ll have to try to raise that a bit.
I’m in FFOF in a 6” plastic pot and only been feeding a VERY light(probably negligible honestly) dose of a bloom city root stim .05 - .5 - .005 and bloom city cal mag at 2-0-0.

When you pot up, consider switching to a fabric pot. They’re much better for growing big, healthy, happy roots and big roots grow big buds.

Rusty colored spots and rusted burnt edges are gonna be N? I was under the impression it would be more of a yellow burn starting at the tips for N and the spots of rust then the edges burning as P.

Yeah I have a 3 gallon fabric that I plan to move into. Given the size, would she be ready to go to it now and would that help or hurt the current issue?

Here goes…you should be at pH 6.5 roughly, your other nutes are locked out…P, Ca, and Mg are not available at 6.2…don’t feed anything, your soil is good till after flip ( plant will tell you) The comment on the purple stems were for Mudman…sorry should not have posted it here…

You could…your leaves are sticking over the edges of the pot…so yes you can…

Thank you so much. Had PH all wrong even though I’d been reading about it constantly. Also, looking at those last pics, those white dots and what not near the brown spots…am I okay on fungus or bugs you think?
