how would you suggest i set up 6 of these? in 2 long strips
How large is your grow space and what do you already have in there?
i got 4 v1 288 qbs from hlg theyre all white light i also have 2 HLG 240h c2100a drivers for now for supplemental lighting i have 2 mars hydro ts 600s in the middle

i want to boost my flower mode @dbrn32 i want denser buds too. i just did my first harvest and the plants under the marshydro ts600s are wayyy fatter and denser than the ones under the qb 288s

im probably just going to wait till hlg has the blue and red bar back in stock they have a 60w that has some good reviews
Not really when you think about it. Light density is about at point of diminishing return without them. And middle is already getting light from both qb fixtures. So when you put additional light directly above it makes sense. Just because they are there doesn’t mean they are doing majority of that growing.

But if you can dream it Mark can probably make it. I would email him and tell him what you’re looking for. They have so many different configurations available their website is a little difficult to navigate. Just remember that he’s in Australia, so days and nights are backwards and shipping will take a little longer. I will say for the fact your strips will be made to order, it’s not too bad.

the mars are in a 2.5x2.5 and the hlg 228s are in the 4x4 @dbrn32 idk i have a feeling that the white light just isnt cutting it. but those are for flower right?

Just curious as to how many mars in the 2.5x2.5 and how many hlg288s (at what wattage) are in the 4x4? Are the plants the same strain?

so i have jack herer and a bubble gum that were in the 2.5 x2.5 (harvested jack today) theyre all autos i got the 2.0 mix pack. the plants that have been under the qbs are considerably smaller as in bud structure compared to the mars plants. i have a bubble gum thats had the same training and same everything as the other bubblegums. even had one go hermie under the qbs lol idk? im not sure the wattage im running them full power as of now since its the end of their life cycle. i also moved the mars hydros into the 4x4 to maybe supplement the spectrum theyre not receiving

Having additional 660nm will help some. That’s why mars copied physiospec and r-spec like boards.
Growing autos from seed would make it impossible to compare anything, especially in two different spaces. If you did it with something like clones at same time, same medium, same feed, and everything else you could maybe make some determinations on performance. Otherwise there’s way too many variables.
