Have 2 closets, a 4x6x7 space, and a 2x7x7 space. Was thinking of setting up a staggered grow op where I mother / veg in the small closet and flower in the big closet…going to use nature’s living soil, and also try scrogging the weed when I put it in the flowering stage. Assuming this is a functional idea that works, What are the best light options for vegging/blooming? Is led the best for blooming?

You can grow weed with lots of different lights. Even the term “best” can have different meanings. If you want to get the most amount of light per watt that will be higher end led fixtures. They’re not cheap though, and the cheap leds don’t usually perform as advertised.

What are the brands of lights you recommend?
If you’re gonna fill the 4x6 for flowering I would go with three qb 260 xl kits from horticulture lighting group. Growerslights sells them assembled for small fee, but they’re not hard to put together. For the 2x7 veg, I would maybe go with three qb 65’s if you want to stay with leds.
Neither is really a standard size growing space where you’ll have one fixture that would do a great job.
