Personally I start hardening day 1 but only if temps are 70 to 75 degrees.
Plus the more time outdoors the less I am using electricity for lights

I am in central CA the ag capital of the world and hardiness zone 9a and 9b

Here there are additional prep which includes a good spray of BT on my trees and plants in back yard to help eliminate the caterpillar problems. Also will spray for aphids and other bad actors like spider mites

I will also begin preventative sprays on the cannabis plants and begin regular maintenance sprays. The idea is to prevent an infestation that I know is imminent.

I just started hardening them off last weekend, so, what like 30…something days, i think?

If its my plant yes, the outdoor sun will be better than sitting near an inside window and the breezes will strenthen the plant. Do not want wind though only breezes

She is officially outside in the shade, i ordered some photoperiods today from fast buds and more autos from fast buds and mephisto genetics

Why in the shade?

The plants natural environment is outdoors so I try not to baby my plants too much. They grow in partial shade but I only shade them to keep the heat down when our temps going into 90s and 100s

Think of it this way, if you started the seeds outdoors in full sun when the plant sprouts it gets full sun day 1, see what i am saying?

The only reason I start out a few hours in beginning is because last two weeks they have been under artificial light at about 300 ppfd and they adapt to that so want to reduce the shock of going under powerful sun rays which is 1000 ppfd currently

Wait is this my journal im new to this lol but im going to keep everyone updated im going to keep buying seeds till i get it i thinking about getting a grow tent any advice anyone? Dont want to spend more than 4 5 hundred

You can rename it. Hit the pencil by the name. Its similar to a page. You come here and update on what you’re doing personally with pics and any issues you might have.

Ilgm is a great seed bank, you cant go wrong with them.
The only downside to ilgm is youre stuck buying 10+ seeds and let’s be real, how many times are you gonna want to grow the same strain, yknow?

But they’re reliable, good quality and this community is awesome.

420 fast buds is a great bank as well, and with them you can buy just a single seed or two.

I wouldn’t trust any other company, but thats juat me.
