Continuing the discussion from How do I fix. Tired of yellow:
This one is the only good looking one
There’s absolutely nothing wrong, that I can see, with your plants. We are getting into the home stretch of outside growing photoperiod plants, and it’s getting close to time to harvest. Your plant is using and eating the nutrients stored in the plant leaves for fuel in the final stretch. Your last one may just be behind in harvest time. But all of my outdoor plants are starting to do/show the same thing. Both soil and hydroponic outside. I think that you are just fine. If they bother you, just pull them off, they should pull really easy. I did my big plant today and got 3 full, huge handfuls to put in the compost pile. Pictures for reference:
Yes your plants are perfectly fine my friend they don’t need those leaves anymore all the nutrients are going to the buds this is a very good thing your going to have some nice buds coming soon I would pull all those yellow leaves I’m sure your other plants will start getting them to today I pruned my plants and I had yellow and dead leaves everywhere that I took off my plants
I got too lazy to pick up all my leaves from defoliating I just leave them right on the ground in my garden let them compost right into the soil for next year I used to have a compost pile but now I just throw everything right onto the garden lol
I agree with the consensus. Possible thing to check though, is soil pH. I experienced a similar thing when I was not watering to runoff and had elevated soil pH due ti buildup.
Tomorrow I’ll have some good pic for you of what I do to my plants at this stage I take all leaves off I do the swas I take every leaf off these plants because your plants don’t need those leaves anymore it also helps train your plants to tell them no more leaves and work on the buds
Not all leaves, no more than about 20% and then let it recover for a week. Hope that helps
Leaves tend to yellow and die at around 60 days old ( the leafs age that is) But she is a big girl and might want some more nutes than your other girls. Looks like you still have time for 1 more feed before harvest. I’d give her a good dose and let her rock!
I have a perpetually hungry girl myself. I feed her the same as I feed my other girls. For some reason this pheno is weak against heat ( doesn’t like anything over 80f ) and just so dang hungry. I have done consecutive soil slurry test every week bumping her feed up slowly to over 1000 ppm and she is still hungry within 3 days … ( Soil shows 300 or less ppm).
I thought it was me doing something wrong but it is just this one plant being a total diva!
Edit: Also as long as she is still building buds and not getting weak and falling over don’t be so hard on yourself! Some plants are just needy turds for no reason what so ever.
