I’m at a loss …

My apologies ….it’s a format I utilize for efficiently utilizing my available space in the grow log.

Have you something you’re use to besides all the additional typing I can use it.
It just happens to work well .

A riddle?a test.
2-21:57/6.4/.96/480/82*/82%/26/20/330/100%
Plant:AGE/PH/EC/PPM/AVG.TEMP/AVG.HUMIDITY/DLI/LT HOURS/PAR/POWER SETTING

Obviously feedings are a bit more simple

FFT8/60%/6.6/1.70/850/128/32/96/6.8/1.35/675

Nutrient&week/strength of solution/ph/ec/ppm/feed vol./runoff vol/plant consumption/Ro ph/Ro ec/ppm.

It just works for me I guess.

Is that specs for an auto or photo?

EC and PPM are redundant that’ll save ya 5 spaces just use EC

Understood but I like to keep the walnut sharp with the math.
Been that way my whole life. And the first thing I think of is ppm so this is my way of adjusting over to ec.
When I was a kid on a road trip, I kept my self busy multiplying / subtracting/ adding and dividing mile markers from licensed plates, anything with a number.
Just to keep it moving and eliminate idle thought serving no purposes.
Any nutes or amendments I use is quantified by my ph/ec change per ml/gallon/Liter. of h20.
ml/ tsp
Tsp/tblsp.
On and on….

NO sweat. Didn’t know if you saw /new the correlation…I toggle too at times. Sometimes I use a truncheon, other times I grab my handheld and forget to jump a ppm setting back to EC so you just run it in your head.

Forgive me but what is a truncheon?

Type of BlueLab meter that reads EC just blinks lights, from my hydro big rez days.

So at 6.6/1.7/850 what would you feed it?
I’m guessing 6.8/2.2/1100.
Sorry to bother you with fundamentals but I’ve gotta beat it in.
After all we are usually numb from the tits up.

That was a perfect explanation . Ty

6.6 is a good level for pH.

To raise PPM to 1,000 from 850, just feed a little extra until you get it raised.

Now I really confused and I’m hoping someone can explain this now.
@MidwestGuy
@OGIncognito
I have fed the four plants that could take it to runoff and it certainly isn’t what I expected on the ph side of the equation.
Have I got a root zone problem?
All plants received 128 oz.

Plant Ro condition last ro(8/11/22)
(Plant#)
2-15 was 6.2/1.92/960
I gave it 6.7/1.73/865(128 oz.)
61.5 oz. came out@ 6.0/1.99/995 and the pot kept 66.5 oz.
(I would have thought ph would adjust to at least 6.3 or 6.4)

2-17 was 6.3/1.48/740
I gave it. 6.6/1.94/970
55 oz came out@6.0/2.0/1000.
(Once again I would have thought ph would adjust up.)

2-18 was 6.3/403/2015
I gave it 6.8/.72/360
42 oz. came out 5.7/1.8/900
(Again?)

2-19 was 6.6/2.9/1450
I gave it 6.8/.70/350
48 oz. came out 5.9/2.1/1050
(WTH? Why should this one be any different?)

I’m all ears…. With a black hole vacuum in between apparently.

Help?!

Chronically low pH is usually due to a salt buildup. How many weeks/months have you been feeding her? Using salt based nutes? Which nute brand? Have they ever been flushed? What soil are you using?

These 4 that were germinated in Solo cups full of light warrior and were put into 3 gallon pots on 7/13 full of old soil that was flushed 2x in a rush.
They have been receiving cal mag,fox farm trio initially @50%, and now % solution typically as needed but generally 50-60% . On regular days ( no nutes) they usually get a beneficial like liquid karma or worm juice/ cal mag/ boogie brew.
I get the whole too many salts low ph but how can I go from a 6.2 to 6.0 by giving it 6.7 ?
I am aware that two points don’t necessarily indicate a trend but jeezowhiz ……

As for soil . LW with Bruce Bugbee’s original research soil.
