I have a green thumb. This is new to me, but

@Not2SureYet, from where did you get the 450?

Morning, This is the one I have. I got it on amazon. I have a 300 as well. The 450s are my favorites though. I have 3 of them now and one 300. They are good quality and my plants seem to like them. I used one when I was in a 3x2 closet with 2 plants. Now I use one over each individual plant since I have more room in my tent. I added one here and there as my budget allowed. I think I am set for lights for a while lol I bought the 300 to use in my little closet for seedlings. I found for me. My seedlings grew faster with just two 23w CFL lights. So I use them till they are 10 days old then use the LEDs. After this grow. i will move the 300 back into the closet, and use it for the first 3 weeks before the plants go into the tent. I hope this helps

@Countryboyjvd1971 it’s ok…I won’t get the light until next week and I think I need to start feeding the plant. Having a hard time with the ph, I guess. I get some light yellow spots, some of the little undergrowth leaves are yellow. I have Brown spots on some of the tips and a few leaves. It’s crazy! I know it needs nutrition but afraid to give it the wrong kind when I get it and it doing more harm than good. Any advise

@Not2SureYet and @Countryboyjvd1971 ok I’m thinking, this is a great price for this grow light.

@Countryboyjvd1971, @Not2SureYet… I need more advice on what I think is a great deal… not sure about the COB thing… it kind of sounds hard to put together… this one I think I can handle… Anyway, I’ll take all and any advice. I hope to order it and nutes tonight. I really want to get it working strong now. TY all! Here’s the link to the one I’m looking to get

The first one, the vipar spectra is a good price and much better light than the second I think. 2main reasons. The first is dimable. Second. it puts out more watts that the second. The viparspectra is 136w and the other 600 is only 108w. If you choose the vipar, you will want to get the adjustable ropes with it. I forget how tall your tent was. If it is some what shorter. I can take a picture of how I did the cables on my lights to get about another 6" of height out of them. @garrigan62 & @Countryboyjvd1971, @Myfriendis410, @MattyBear, @FloridaSon , @TDubWilly, @raustin are all great information sources. I like the first light but one of these folks may be able to offer A better light. I am still new and only know about what I have. These people have been around for a while and seen a lot more than I have, I would hate to steer you wrong

@dbrn32 is who you need for your lighting questions. @Iva used to help me when I first started here, but I haven’t seen him for quite some time.

Thanks for tag @FloridaSon.

@Jamie1234 I think you would be a little more happy with one of the other lights posted by countryboy or the viparspectra. That’s just looking at the specs posted and following along the other members that use them. I do more custom diy styles led fixtures than anything, so I can’t tell you first hand though sorry.

I will @dbrn32 well I’m facing high humity in my area right now. I know how to raise it just not sure how to get it to come down. Ive learned it needs to be a bit high when it’s hot but it’s only 76° in my tent right now. We are dealing with light rain until tommorrow but my humity is pushing 80° scary

That’s a bigger deal in flower than it is vegging. Do you have an exhaust fan running with intake open?

Hey buddy, @Countryboyjvd1971 I’m going with the first one you suggested. In going to give it a go with the FF trio. thank you, I’ll keep y’all updated whoooo, getting scary but anxious lol. Ty again

So get some of these dehumidifier packs for cars, the ones you use to help stop the windows misting up in winter that you stick in the microwave for a few minutes to dry out when the indicator says it’s “wet”.

This is one example, you’ll find them in many places and I know I can buy them here in Belgium for less than this one on Amazon.

Thank you @anon35207245

@dbrn32 not sure if it’s a good one or the right way. I have a small fan for out take and 2 fans in side
