Hypochlorous acid for WPM

Hi, after a bad case of WPM, I did some research and found that Hypochlorous acid works well in eliminating WPM, I bought a gallon , 99% pure, contains
" 500 ppm free available chlorine" before I use this stuff, is it the right correct item, should I dilute it? Any tips will be greatly appreciated, TYIA.

Never used this.

@Budbrother @Low @kaptain3d any experience with this or seen anyone on the forum using it?

I haven’t used it but it’s been suggested to me on a few occasions, pretty sure Kap has mentioned it.

“Foliar application on cannabis
30 to 80 ppm FAC
Best practice range 40 to 60 ppm

Dilute and pH should be between 5.5-6.5

I was told by an AGrowlyte (brand of hypochlorous acid) representative to dilute 50/50 for bad wpm and 25/75 (25 acid) for regular preventive treatment.

Thanks buddy!

@sparker the stuff here is extremely weak in comparison to 99% and Is recommended to be diluted quite a bit.

Theres someone on here that makes their own Hypochlorous acid. I buy a gallon jug off Amazon every once in awhile to disinfect and sanitize my humidifiers I used some as a bud wash this year came out good.

You can buy machines on Amazon to make your own hypochlorous acid.

A big thank you to all that responded, I’m going to try the mix that kaptain3d recommended 25/75 (25 acid) and see how that goes, thanks again!!

I’ve used it, i originally bought it as a flushing agent stuff would make pearly white clean roots. Then i read where folks were using it for PM and grey mold. Stuff worked and is the best I’ve ever seen to eliminate white powdery mildew. I believe its basically chlorine as it has a whiff of chlorine smell.

Sticking to a schedule of spraying greenhouse plants every 3 days virtually eliminated mold and fungus. Its also the best bud wash I’ve found.

I do have the machine to make it. I use it straight out of it. It does work, BUT if your environment isn’t correct it WILL come back. I just lost 7 plants at 6 weeks in flower. I also don’t like to spray plants. I guess I would suggest to make make sure your environment is perfect to start, as I can’t do that with mine, unfortunately in an out building. Good luck @sparker

Like @Dforce I’ve noticed that it’s effective but like said if your environment isn’t corrected it will come back. Was used Outdoors in my case during a particularly wet summer.
Also have the machine and use for inside pre grow cleaning and such undiluted as well.
