Clonex liquid and a TOUCH of calmag in cloner reservoir. See full roots in about 10 days. 15 days you think you are growing in hydro…lol.
My beautiful creation. Im excited to see the yield, have no idea what itd even be close to. I hate waiting lol.
Looks awesome
Thank you!
Alright now @kaptain3d @dbrn32 @plumbdand shes supercropped. Man these stems were hard as hell to crush and twist ,most split. I just finished smothering the breaks with real fresh cut aloe and now im about to wrap the splits
@Storm @SausageMahoney
Well done Sir @Hugh85.
Like @plumbdand suggested, the best tape, imo, is plumber tape (teflon tape) because it stretches with the growth of the branches.
But, in a pinch, any tape will work.
Nicely done. Dont move them around for at least a week. Let them recover.
Im worried about how they split the hell wide open though!
Im.worried now, is there a chance theyll die on me or what else do i need to do to make sure they’re gonna recover well? I read a while back paper bandaging tape is best so that what i had on hand because i had to make a repair for splits on my main nodes of my Hazeberry girl
. If it was healthy she will recover. I have done far far more invasive HST.
She should be perfectly fine. Check back in a few hours and you should notice that all the leaves will have turned to face the lights. And with the tape over the splits, no nasty crap will get in so you’ll be good.
And for the next time, you don’t need that much tape…
When she grows, that much tape can “strangle” the growth of that part of the branch. Normally, you would only “cover” the split to keep it clean.
Just let her be now. The deed is done. She will recover or not now. I wouldnt worry on her. I have some HST on a mother that is flipping. I dont even check it. That tape is perfect. She will actually turn back up. If it does dont mess with it a week or so then TIE them back down a bit. Also hard angles closing off the tunnel in the stem will kill the branch. You taped well so I do not see that happening. Just my thoughts.
You’re in good hands bud. No worries. You’ll begin to wonder what’s “too much”? I once tore a branch off and threw it out the window, the next day it was back in the house and attached to its break. I kid but it seems like that. It’ll heal up and in time you’ll get a big knot right there.
Week later…
Oh shes a healthy sob . Germinated her 5 days after the other 2 i had growing and she literally towered over them, even passed them up in the seedling stage
I added the small zip ties just to support the breaks and also to keep the tape on,it has a tendency to come off
Here’s one I did outdoors a few years ago…
I had split the main stalk when I first topped her and taped her. Later on during veg, the branches got too big and she split again…
So I tied her more forcefully:
Here she was, a few weeks later, still in veg:
And another one. Here you can see that she split the tape open to be able to continue growing…
I think you will be fine. After this 1 you will have the confidence to do it whenever you want.
Wow sir exactly the same lookin, its her day to be fed/watered. Last watering was plain water and now its time for cal-mag and Tiger bloom. Will it hurt her?
Nah. Stay on your schedule. Early for bloom nutes. Need the veg nutes.
