How to keep seeds

Hey everyone quick ? How do I store my seeds ? Thanks for any help have a great day @Myfriendis410 @Dennis62

Dry and cool. The fast answer is in the fridge in a light blocking pack.
Longer answer:
I keep mine in a small airtight case from Harbor Freight. Small Apache case about $13. I have small tubes which I label and fill then put in the case to store in a small refrigerator. I also have several silica descant packs in the case with them.
Should be able to store for a decade this way.

I store things in euro-style canning jars. I don’t have a reason to pull things out, so I just start a new jar periodically, and keep older jars sealed. Throw a feminine pad in there to keep moisture down if you want. I keep the jars in a dark cupboard.

With old seed stock you can improve germination by taking the water from a fresh coconut and soaking the seeds in that as opposed to plain water. The fresh hormones in the huge palm seed can re-invigorate really really really old seeds.

You could use any fresh seed. A coconut is just exceedingly well-suited to this purpose.

I had 25 year old seeds germ with a pretty decent rate that were stored in an old black film canister.

I store my seeds in small zips in a dark envelope in back of refrigerator to keep temperature steady. I take seed out a week before planting and get it use to 70* room temperature, kinda like nature, winter then spring then moisture.so far so good. none of my seeds are over 3 years old but have 100% germination rate so far. I know a guy like @Cannabian said, keeps seeds for years in film cans in his tool box ha ha I’ve heard cool, dark, and dry so I do that.
