I purchased the Bergmans Plant Food packets and have a question about how often to feed the plants. The feeding schedule advertises amount to use with water, ie. 1/2 tsp per gallon. How often do you give them this mixture? A gallon of the food mixture would feed my seedlings for forever. Do I feed them every time I water?

Different rates for different ages in different mediums.
If in Fox Farm soil? I wouldnt feed for first 5-7 weeks. Then Id start around halfstrength to begin. Feed, water, feed pattern.
In coco? It depends. Some from day 1. Some are feed, feed, feed. Some feed water feed.
Some strains are hungrier, some eat less.
Lighting also plays a very important roll.

welcome to the community. i know its alot of questions but the answers will be different on certain situations.
If in a hot soil, like ocean forest, water only for now and the next month ish. It something lighter, like Coco or a coco mix like light warrior. You can begin the seedling feed immediately. But only feed with the Bergman’s 2-3 times a week in soil. At peak. So you alternate feed/water only/feed/water only. If using something like happy frog you can start the seedling feed at about 50% immediately. And you are correct. Not worth making a whole gallon of it.
If in a 100% innert medium, like straight Coco coir, you feed full strength every single day. Honestly if you are using ffhf or ffof you won’t actually ever need to even open the seedling feed.
